One thing I love about the Celtics…

Insane how the Celtics have six players with double digit scoring while other teams have two players or so responsible for like 80% of the points. I know the Celtics aren’t the only team in the league that’s like that, but I feel like it’s gonna make for a good matchup against teams coming up (Miami, Denver, Phoenix). Thoughts?

Side note: Tatum would average 40 if he had a teammate that would get doubled (Durant) instead of him getting doubled almost every possession

Celtics have great depth but the Suns aren’t really a team you should use to make this point as they are completely lopsided. Look at all the other teams in the playoffs and they all have 4-5 guys in double digits each game.

  3. This approach is why the Celtics have been competitive for the last several years. It’s an offense that only asks for everybody to put up close to their average amount. Way more sustainable than needing a superstar to generate 30-40 each night.

Suns going to un drafted Aussie Jock Landale over number 1 pick Deandre Ayton in crunch time of game 3.

He’s is officially gone in the offseason.

The Celtics do have something of an evolutionary Beautiful Game Spurs feel to me. It’s obviously different, Tatum/Brown are way more traditional high usage stars than young Kawhi or old Duncan/Parker, but man when [White](https://www.nba.com/stats/events?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&GameEventID=25&GameID=0042200213&Season=2022-23&flag=1&title=White%2026%27%203PT%20Jump%20Shot%20(3%20PTS)%20(Horford%201%20AST)) and then [Tatum](https://www.nba.com/stats/events?CFID=&CFPARAMS=&GameEventID=28&GameID=0042200213&Season=2022-23&flag=1&title=Tatum%2024%27%203PT%20Jump%20Shot%20(8%20PTS)%20(Smart%201%20AST)) got back to back 3s off tic tac toe ball movement really reminded me of those teams. Smart and Brown’s telepathy on back door cuts also reminds of the way Parker and Ginobili would connect, seemingly out of no where

This is why like in G2 Tatum can only score single digits and we still get the W because the whole team contributes and we just don’t have to rely on the Jays every single night. Granted it’s always nice when your stars are consistent every night but it’s even better when you can rely on your role players.

That’s why if (getting way ahead now) the Celtics were to play the suns in the finals, I would personally consider that the best matchup they could have

Knicks are good I’m sure they aren’t gonna lose to heat so maybe we should all start think about them. They can give the C’s and all those other teams trouble.
