Real slick but no cigar. Get real, some folks in here definitely don’t follow the Clippers or are part of a concerted effort to save his job otherwise they would acknowledge Lue coached the Clippers into losses this season with & without PG/Kawhi. Lue could not divorce from his principles of starting ineffective Morris and, before he was traded, R Jackson. Worst, he took outta games players that were contributing for these two non contributing friends of his. Lue with the Clippers was all about friendship, not basketball. Let’s see if he remembers how to coach with a different team, give the dude a 2nd chance because he blew it with dah Clippers! 🤫😉
Ty Lue went from making the finals 4 strait years with Bron to getting bounced before the finals 4 straight years with the bum ass Clippers.. he’s DEFINITELY annoyed

Clippers fan can only hope Ty Lue goes, he was the biggest problem last season with his obsession with playing Morris and Jackson. Ty Lou is one of the most overrated coaches in the league, second only to his mentor doc Rivers. I watched the Clippers with a healthy Kawhi and PG blow at least 10-15 winnable games due to head scratching rotations by Ty Lue, then at the end of the season, it came out that he had beef with the front office and was intentionally putting out those bad lineups. Clippers would be foolish to not fire him, the minute he signed to Klutch he forgot how to coach. Good riddance!

If Ty Lue is available, the Bucks should not pursue Nick Nurse. I would have loved to see Ime Udoka as the Bucks new head coach unfortunately he took the Rockets job too early.

Players and coaches almost always say they want to come back to their team. They’ll say that all the way up to the moment they sign a contract with a different team.
Here is what I think…. I think that if The Greak Freak was not injured and missed the first 3 games, Milwaukee would be playing. I believe that without Jimmy Butler having the game of his life, they would still be playing. If Giannis had not missed 13 free throws the Bucks woudl still be playing. Yes coach Bud did have some bad untimely coaching moments , but it is hard to win in the NBA when your stars are hurt. Tye Lue is a great coach, however he is afforded the ability to have HIGH level players to coach every night. Not too many teams are going to spend the money the Clippers spend, and the Bucks are going to lose either Lopez or Middfleton, so lets see how good they are.
The Clippers were a nightmare for Doc Rivers and then Ty Lue. I feel sorry for the next guy.
I'm not buying this Ty Lue is a great coach. I remember 10 years ago Doc Rivers was called a great coach. Spoelstra is a great coach. I need to see more of Lue to buy what you selling.

I think this is a good point and it crossed my mind. I think the Bucks have window to win and a generational talent in Giannis. It is believed that he is the best player in the NBA right now. Given that I think the Bucks do not want to waste time bringing in an unproven coach such as an assistant and waste this window of time and Giannis contract may be up in about 2 years. I like their thinking in prying someone away if there is no available coach. To me that says a owner wants to win and keep their franchise player. The challenge with the Bucks I think 2 major players contracts are up and they may not be able to keep one or both of them. Lopez is one of the players. Ginannis is not like Kawhi who misses games and need to load management. I agree with you a coach like Lue and they would possibly still be in the playoffs. BTW it is stated that European players don't push back like U.S. players so Giannis will just do as he is told.

There is bad luck in that stadium for the Clippers. They need to get their own stadium, period.
Milwaukee is done moving forward for that disloyal move and that coach did a damn good job of getting that overachieving team a championship in a injury riddled season in the nba,so that move was some b.s to me..
I can't see Lue leaving the Clippers now because they just put this roster together in the second half of the season. If Kawhi and PG13 decide to re-work their contracts to allow Westbrook to stay we would be in great shape to finish the job next season. Kawhi will recover from the injury and so will PG13. In order to help prevent more injury risk Kawhi needs to wear protective gear such as leg wraps and knee pads like KD, AD, Lebron, Butler, and so many other star players. I think that gear really helped D Wade at the end of his career and also is now being used by D Rose. If the Clippers play Kawhi more games with less minutes that might work a little better. Finally after next season having their own arena will definitely help a lot with scheduling and other problems. In a way not winning a championship this year was a good thing, because when they do it from here on the banner will be hung in a Clippers arena. I believe if Kawhi, PG13, and Westbrook stay together those LA guys will win the Clippers a championship. They have the talent on the team and the basketball gods will smile on them soon.
It'd make sense for Ty to want to leave. In my opinion, the Clippers are probably cooked. From the Clippers perspective, I'd probably try to ship Kawhi to New York or someone else that can afford to give young talent and picks up.

He won't leave because the GM Frank is finally saying the right thing about the regular season needing to mean more. The funniest thing to me is that THE GM CONTROLS ALL OF THAT. THE MEDICAL STAFF AND LOAD MANAGEMENT. It has been years and no one has called out GM Frank once. Also the Clippers have Microsoft money and Ballmer has proven that he doesn't mind spending. Ty Lue is currently under contract with the Clippers. For him to leave the Clippers and join Milwaukee would likely require some draft compensation. Very similar to the Clippers having to give a first round pick to the Celtics to get Doc Rivers from the Celtics back in 2013.
Everyone talks about Lue like he is a great coach, which is hard to understand when he can't get the star players on his team to play more games. I don't buy the way Kawhi plays or doesn't play. He wasn't even wearing a knee brace the day he was supposedly injured. That is unacceptable. The Clippers have been less than impressive.
Ty Lue would be a phenomenal fit for the Bucks, way better than Nick Nurse, who just above average. There was a reason he got fired from the Raptors.

I think Ty lue just resigned recently. Why not get mark jackson, Sam cassell or Atkinson. Anyone of them can get the job done. Btw, I think Erik Spoelstra is the best coach in the nba especially on a series or playoffs scenario.

Ty Lue is NOT a good coach, because he don't do the little things. He won't even install an offensive gameplan. SIMPLE. "Oh he makes so many good adjustments"… WELL you can do that when the owner pay for the 2nd highest paid roster in the league. Where do all the adjustments get him? Out in the first round.
