I think he would be an intriguing pick up based on the fact that he was the guy for NDSU and scored mostly in post up, spot up, and iso situations while 53% of those shots attempted were at the rim.
Here, he wouldn’t be asked to do anything but play finish out of the PnR/PnP/DHO, but he has shown the ability to self create (would translate most likely in the short roll on the way to the rim), play make, and defend the rim.
He would obviously spend time in the G League this year but we need front court depth and he seems to possess an IQ-based skillset that we covet.
