Dame is easily my favorite player of all time but I would do this so fast. Garland and Sharpe for the next 10 years would be ridiculous. Not to mention we could trade Ant for another piece or more picks. Seems like it would be a great start to a rebuild.

No. And this has to be a massive multi team trade, Cleveland’s cupboard is empty.
Obviously this would only happen if Dame has fully asked out and would depend on what other potential offers there would be. Beyond that I believe there would need to be at least one more mid level salaried player included just to match Dame’s contract.
In a vacuem though this is a tough one to me, obviously the Cavs doesn’t have the pick that would normally be included in a trade like this, but Garland is basically the level of player you would hope to get out of those picks. So basically it’s choosing the surething of an existing 23 year old all-star point gaurd, with all nba potential, with 4 years under contract over the possibility of drafting or trading for someone of similar calibar with those picks in the future. Ultimately I think it would depend on our luck in this years draft and the FO, if the Blazers jumped up to the number one pick and got Wembenyama and didn’t want to sit around for a full rebuild like the rockets have done, then Garland does present a nice surething return for Dame. But I don’t think I would do it, at least not without a bit more added into the trade.
