It was a dead ball. The refs have to make sure it's still safe to play the game if there is like a drink or something else is spilled 😂 And it's also gives time to clean up sweat that's on the ground. What a bunch of phoenix Suns haters. Do I think that he should be suspended? Of course not.
stop the suspension talk. debate the technical.
If the fan pushed the player… would he go unpunished?
i think the warriors lakers series is like the movie perfect storm where everything bad could happen happened , warriors this year maybe the worst teams in fouls count and on the other hand the lakers is best team that grifts for fouls and adding to that the icing on the cake the referee is Scott Foster which is know for being worst referee in the playoffs
Jokic should be suspended.. Period!!
The NBA Rule Book on inbounding the ball
An inbound pass occurs after:
A non-shooting foul has occurred. The ball goes out of bounds. A dead ball, such as a jump ball or the end of a quarter. A made basket. WHEN INBOUNDING, THE REFEREE HANDS YOU THE BALL WHILE YOU STAND OUT OF BOUNDS. You have five seconds to inbound the ball.
Jokic has to wait for the ref to hand him the ball to start play.
That Embiid charge on Smart was defa a charge… we all clearly saw marcus slide into him while embiid was in motion… such bs. Another rigged sport smh
We all know if Draymond did this he’d be out for the remainder of the playoffs. I don’t want Joker to be suspended (I didn’t think Dray should be suspended) but I do want this league and these refs to have more accountability for their actions – they are literally deciding who wins/loses by what they “choose” to call in certain games at times. The 2min report is worthless once you take that L 🤷🏼♀️ A few errant calls for each side should be expected but the inconsistencies we’ve seen this year are glaring and unfortunate considering all the hard work these guys put in to get to this place in their career. I think the league should require continuing ed for all refs and fine them after a they accumulate a specified amount of incorrect/missed calls. Mess with their money and they’ll get right 💯
Hey JJ , just wondering if you seen the Tim danughy Netflix doc.
No one's suspending Jokic , it's not happening, this is blown out of proportion. Not even worth talking about at this point
He definitely should not be suspended. The nuggets lost the game and Joker got a technical. Case closed. Any other fan besides the owner is getting tossed for not giving the ball back like his clown a** did.
Any take other then that situation was really funny is just posturing for your favorite team or player. Nobody needs to be suspended over something as small as that
Bro these owners get to hold the championship trophy before the players…get em outta here…the worship of money and billionaires is not the way
Well jj you were the biggest person blaming refs so I’m not surprised that’s what people keep talking about
Suns win the championship…Ishbia is the first one to touch the trophy lol
Ishbia deserved to be walloped, what a dumb jerk. Suns fan but not a fan of the owner at all after that that.
Suspend Joker. Suns got screwed with suspensions for 2 players for simply leaving the bench in a 2-2 series against the Spurs. Boo freaking hoo.
I'm not a Nuggets fan or anything like that. That being said, the only reason the Nuggets haven't swept this series is because 2 Suns players have played out of their mind and 3 refs. It's beyond clear this series was mandated from on high to go more than 4 games. It is really is offputting to me.
I don't think there should be a suspension, but it is against the rules for Joker to interact with the front row like that.
Ishbia was completely in the wrong. In the moment it was a clear no call or tech on suns. Shocking performance from the refs at several points last night
I agree with you that every ref is different. But there are so many calls on Steph Curry that go uncalled it. It's kind of ridiculous. I don't understand how you can say that the refs are not influencing the game not that they're favoring people but they are influencing the game and make it an easier for LeBron James and AD to get fouls while Steph gets contact at every possession and doesn't get any calls. No hold calls. No 4-point plays the amount of threes that he shoots that he has contact on is ridiculous and I would be saying the same thing if it was happening until LeBron. It's about the integrity of the game
That owner was such a child. Shameful
The ball LANDED on Ishbia, people acting like he went and grabbed it. He tries to pick up his player right after when Jokic comes and yanks it. Jokic is the AGGRESOR when he yanks it cuz he's MAD he wants the 5v4.
Rooting for suns but bro if they suspended jokic i would stop following the series. What bs.
When the NBA referees go live during a game to damage control makes them look worse.
"the fan" should have been ejected. The owner should be kept in a sky box.
2007 Stoudemire & Diaw nuff said
bias aside it was an obvious push off not hit or miss
it should've been delay of game
Objective fact: Jokic became physically violent towards a spectator. Say whatever else you want, and be right about it… Jokic still crossed a crystal clear line.
Shoulda been knocked out and dragged out. Dude is a clown.
In life, your history matters. And you are judged, right or wrong, on your actions and words. Especially the former.
So Green most definitely needed to be suspended. He needs to learn an important lesson (but he won't, because he's Draymond)… that his actions have consequences for him personally and for his team. Unfortunately, he only cares about himself, in spite of all the things he says. His actions speak louder.
I know that this video is about Jokic, but what JJ said about Draymond was ridiculous. IT DOES NOT MATTER that Sabonis held onto Draymond before Draymond stomped on Sabonis. There is no obvious intent to hurt Draymond by holding his foot or leg. Sabonis was trying to slow Draymond down. Still illegal, absolutely. But you can easily hold onto someone's foot or leg without injuring them. But stomping? It's rather difficult to stomp on someone without causing injury or at least, pain. Stomping was not Draymond's only option after being held by Sabonis. But he chose to stomp. That raises the level of the interaction to one of violence. Sabonis' illegal action was not one of violence. So a suspension for Draymond, even though Sabonis instigated, is not out of line. If Sabonis had done something violent, like trying to twist Draymond's foot, so as to injure his ankle, then a suspension for Sabonis and none for Draymond would have been appropriate.
