JJ and AJ are good to great candidates to see what Quin Snyder and his staff do in terms of player development. I think JJ in particular will be a case study on improvement in coaching year over year.

Jalen’s talented, but he’s got a lot of work to do before he’s ready to start. His defense is often awful and his decision making still needs works. Hopefully those will both continue to improve going forward. If so, he definitely can become at least a good starter if not more.

I’m not sure about JJ’s future in Atlanta. He’s never going to be an elite shooter, and if we’re going to play Dejounte at the 2, that’s basically what we need at the 4.
