Yeah I like Buddy but if he’s not gonna be here for the long haul I’d want to get rid of him sooner rather than later. Would be nice if we could hold off on Haliburton extension until around trade deadline so we can do the same thing we did with Turners contract and spread it out over an additional year so when we’re in contention we’ll have additional room to add more pieces. I wouldn’t blame him for not wanting to wait though cause a bad injury could ruin his chances of getting a max.
