DG is a slightly taller IT. Defensive liability. Problem is DG signed max deal with Cavs and Celtics weren’t that stupid to sign IT. At least IT had some playoff success and played with heart. DG soft as charmin. DG is no dog.
I was there tonight . Tough series. Garland you my man, all we can do is go up from here. We’ll get em next year, Mobley need to get his muscle up. He can be the next Gianni’s . And for Darius the sky is the limit. He can easily become the best guard in the league.
Mobley needs to develop into an allstar for this team to at least make it to the second round. Needs to expand his offensive game. Right now , this team has a predictable unreliable offense. An offense unfit for the playoffs. The two guard offense won’t cut it in the playoffs. Their bigs got outplayed so much too on the boards this series. GG knicks

I love to watch Garland play offense; quick, crafty finishing with either hand, great mid-range shooter, and a solid passer. On defense, he and Mitchell need to get much better and it is not a height issue for those that say they are undersized. Thomas, Stockton, and Cheeks were all 6'1" and all could defend quite well. Cavs will have a hard time getting deeper in the playoffs when our 3 (Okoro & others) has to defend the other team's point guard. It was not just Brunson, neither one could guard Trae Young in those two games at the end of year. They have the talent and foot speed to be good defenders so hopefully they can take it to the next level next season.
