Not only did the Hawks win the # 1 pick, but they also have a boatload of draft picks two 1st round picks, four 2nd round picks, and two 3rd round picks. And they also have a lot of draft picks in 2024 and 2025. This is the proper way to rebuild a franchise by tanking and loading up on draft picks. The Hawks will be exciting for years to come!
I wanna see this "ping pong ball" process the NHL says they use for the lottery. How do we know the NHL doesn't just rig it for the big market teams? The lottery always seems to screw over small market teams like Anaheim, Columbus, Arizona, etc.

Play Bedard in the minors for a year and draft high again next year. The Blackhawks have Lukas Reichel already here. Buy your tickets before they sell out.
