  1. did anyone notice the man in the blue shirt sitting next to the suns owner is NBA player Isiah Tomas (Pistons) ?

  2. Remember the minority owner from Golden State he got 1 year ban and a hefty fine for interfering with Lowry back in 2019. I guess if you are a majority owner different rules apply,

  3. The league protects the players by making it the refs' job to retrieve the ball from fans – it's not the players' job.

  4. The NBA needs to do the same as Hockey, Baseball, football, Soccer, and other sports. Keep fans and owners away from the players and coaches. Jokic reacts the way any other player will react. The technical and the fine are ridiculous. Plus, why the owner was not kickout from the game?

  5. That would've been a fastbreak if Jokic got the ball right away bec he was already looking at the other side of the court

  6. I don't get something. The guy was holding the ball because there was a source of commotion to his left. Doubt he was intentionally holding onto the ball, so to me, it looks like Jokic was a bit aggressive? Someone explain please?

  7. So the guy holds onto the ball, refusing to let go, but because Jokic made contact with him while trying to get the ball back he is given a tech and fined?! So you just rewarded the Suns for their owner intentionally interfering in the game. Congrats NBA, it is now open game for all fans.. and you did it to yourself. What a disgrace.

  8. Ok. U set the precedent. When draymond green angrily runs in to the crowd to forcibly grab the ball from a little girl next year, i don't wanna here any "hes a thug" or anything like that. Keep it even

  9. So the owner would rather hold on to the ball instead of trying to help one of his player up? We all know why he was holding on to the ball. If it was anyone else they would've been banned. Isaiah next to the owner also touched Jokic yet nothing happened to him since he is well known yet the Suns fan got kicked out cause he was a random. This whole situation is just bad. The league should've also restrict the new Sun's owner from attending any future games of this series, at least from the sidelines. No fan should influence the game period. I'm not a fan of either teams here but this was poorly resolved.

  10. In this situation, I don't see anything wrong with the Suns owner. From these shots, it's easy to conclude that the Suns basketball player has difficulty getting out so as not to hurt the fans. The ball went to the owner not of his will. He held her like that, but he was also involved in helping. But the funny Jokic came up with aggression. He snatched the ball, pushed the owner and expected that he did not receive the ball on his floor during the PO because he was waving to the fan for a pass. If he's such an honorable and great MVP, let him wait for the action when all the defenders are on the floor. That's not how the face of the league should behave. Not in my opinion. In this situation, it would be important for no one to get hurt. Being human. Jokic behaved like a simpleton. You see the wrong side of the coin. After this situation, Jokic in my opinion will no longer receive the MVP. In my opinion, an MVP who can't go through the 2nd round or loses in the 1st round of the PO is the MVP. Adding this situation is a pure insult because once the MVP represented something.

  11. Seriously stop talking about the fan being the owner. It's not relevant. Unless you think America and meritocracy don't belong in the same sentence.

  12. Rewarding Suns owner for clearly interfering with the game. Great logic, Silver. Let's hope we get to see your double standards when a normal fan does this.

  13. How in the world is the owner not being fined? Oh wait… he pays Adam Silver his salary. SMH

  14. the can of worms opened after this smh so its ok for a fan to delay the game got it

  15. The Joker had no business going in the stands the NBA rule States no player shall go in the stands. It is a automatic suspension. He went in the stands initiated contact then elbowed the owner of the sons deliberately knowing what he was doing and causing contact. He is totally a fault

  16. Nobody talk about his F performance they talk about that idiot that grab the ball,LEAVE THE F BALL,YOU ARE NOT IN A GAME!!! Jokic give 53p & 11ast!!!!!!

  17. so dissapointed by the NBA…. I tought Adam Silver is a fair guy… But this incident prove menwrong… He is just another capitalism slave and dog on a leash for the owner…

  18. When owners want to be apart of the game they should get fined to! The flop showed that the owner was doing the most to benefit his team. Actually, I would have used the word “fan” too because I wouldn’t have recognized him as an owner. So he touched him first and he gets fined? Interesting!

  19. Nikola Jokic is like that bully in school. He is just really tall and fat and bully's smaller people.

  20. Glad it wasn't a suspension, that's not good for the game. Also not surprised by the tech. I don't think Joker should have got it but let's be honest, the golden rule applies here. It's not right but I understand why it happened

  21. Why is Jokic coming into the stands for so aggressively, of course there is going to be an incedent. A suns player got pushed by nuggets player into the stands and Jokic runs that player over trying to get the ball. He has a history of being a hot head and i think he go lucky this did not turn into something more.

  22. Ishbia should've been banned for a game for interfering with the flow of a game in a way that benefited his team. Jokic being suspended was never the right call so acting like no suspension and a fine is correct is the league being sneaky
