It weird seeing a Thibs coached team continuously make dickhead plays. For all the screaming and benching he does, you would think guys would be making sure they pay attention to detail. But this is what happens when there’s no vocal leader on the floor

Appreciate this video. Thanks for editing and posting. This video highlights the main thing I thought after last night’s game. Our poor defense was a total lack of TEAM effort and hustle. Poor rotations and decisions by EVERYONE.
If the entire team was bad defensively and lacked effort and hustle, why is it that I’m seeing every other comment and post only blaming one player? Where’s the rest of the smoke and critique for the entire team?
I think the examples of bad closeouts here are actually fine, it’s the lack of defensive rotations after that made them bad. The only true bad closeouts are the ones where guys run/jump past their guy (cause you take yourself out of the play) or are too lazy to closeout.
The rebounding overall this series has been alright, but this game was just a travesty. A lot of the mistakes did lie in just poor effort and lack of spatial awareness. But there were some bounces that were just straight up unlucky.

I wanna throw up looking at this. This team is shook. I think they went into this series expecting to stomp miami and got a serious reality check. It’s not over till it’s over though. And even if it’s over I love these dudes and I’m proud of them for making it this far. LGK

This is why I’m furious – it’s just lazy basketball. Doesn’t even come down to talent , it’s like we haven’t been playing great basketball for 4 months right before this
