  1. His numbers won't pop off the screen but he typically eats space and takes on double teams

  2. Look he might be ā€œokā€ in the run stuff but besides that heā€™s not athletic enough to get consistent sacks. Heā€™s prolly gonna be a bust. Our ā€œAmon Raā€ well thatā€™s our 4th round pickā€¦.. Brian Branch. Legit maybe Martin will be ok but no Martin Will Not be Even Close to what the heck you just said which was so stupid to begin with. Guys like Branch or Jalyn Hyatt are gonna be the ones not Martin but sorry thatā€™s just facts I gaurentee heā€™ll be a solid rotational piece but dude ainā€™t getting much pressure even with his weight we seem him on tape hardly moving once heā€™s upright and not enough juice to last in the nfl he needs a major weight cut conditioning and lots of technique help.

  3. I agree with you on Martin. However, after watching much game film on the man you quickly learn that he's very powerful and an anchor, he can split O-Line double teams and overpowering them. What he needs is skill and technique. He needs to develope his hands and his feet, creating moves to get around Offensive lines. Lastly he needs to use leverage against his opponents. All of these things the Lions Coaches can teach as Martin is a great prospect. Look for Brodric Martin šŸ˜®to contribute much in mid-season.

  4. Much of what the Lions are doing is based on not just what a player can do, but how effective he will be when paired with someone else. Either on the same snaps, or as a unit. For example, Gibbs when pair with Montgomery means defenses get beat up having to tackle Montgomery since he breaks a lot of tackles and requires max effort to bring him down. Then Gibbs comes in, and before they know it, he's made that one cut, that elite burst, and he's gone. Martin when paired with Buggs, if Martin plays to his best ability, means on those snaps, we'd have 2 big space eating tackles in there eating up blocks, freeing up the linebackers, and letting the DE's get more man to man to defeat. Of course, only if Martin develops. He's definitely big, strong, active, and can run. But I also saw a lot of him standing straight up and just letting 2 blockers get into him. Often he'd peel off to make the tackle after a 4-5 yard gain. Hopefully they can teach him and motivate him to get a little more penetration and come in lower. If he can do that, with his size, he'd get the guard and center at a stalemate at the LOS, and sometimes squeeze through. If he stands up at this level, he'll get blocked backwards, and that makes it tough for the linebackers because they have to pick an angle, and if they go the wrong way, the back slips through and that's how we end up getting run on like the Carolina game last year. They were moving our defensive tackles off the ball. Linebacker would come up and have his own DT backed into them. They'd guess the wrong direction, and the back was through and into the secondary.

  5. They've given their Dline more time to get to the QB on passing plays by upgrading the secondary and LB position the way they did. They alsobbe able to stop the run more efficiently.

  6. šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ Everyone is "going to be a beast" haven't seen them play 1 down in the NFL but we know he will be "a beast" ROFL.

  7. We HAVE TO PLUG THE MIDDLE And put pressure on the QBs. I donā€™t care who. Itā€™s a need not a want.
