Lol!It's just the LA media in the work again, that's why I will never support the Lakers…
One outbreak doesn't make you a solid player, they literally benched him a lot until G5 which he
got hot for 1 game… We already knows Lonnie can be hot like that, but ridiculously inconsistent.
LA just love to overhyped their players even Kobe was a little bit,but in reality they couldn't win a chip without an outsider super-star.
I like Lonnie ..but I’m damn tired of seeing him on my timeline
Yes pop did make the wrong decision on a couple of players
Lonnie did exactly what he is. He can explode for 10 minutes, but that's about it. But dont get my wrong I am kinda annoyed we developed a player that helps the Lakers win
I love Lonnie! I'm ecstatic he's getting some great press from the great showing, BUT i wont be surprised he goes 20% from the field next extended time on the court. I TOTAL HOPE I'M WRONG!!!
I still hate the Lakers thou.
Just goes to show casuals didn’t watch him in SA — I’ve been waiting for Lonnie to force this moment — he literally was on the Lakers 3rd string w/DNPs & he was injured again during the regular season — don’t let them LA lights fool you
Spurs were never holding Lonnie back. He has always been an inconsistent player. He’s either hot or cold. Spurs let him go cause Malaki Branham has more potential then him. He avg in his rookie season almost the same points as Lonnie did this season. Are the spurs holding Lonnie back? Nope he’s about the same player when he left.
Clan draft lottery is a week away, we need some more Wemby and Scoot analyses.. give us your wisdom
I'm happy for Lonnie but he is inconsistent. He was on the bench for a reason. I'm glad he saved game 4 but I'm nervous the lakers might end up giving him too many minutes after that game. They should not over rely on him.
I think expectations were high for Lonnie as a 1st round pick for the Spurs. Fans and the team were always hoping he would become a super star. I think that with the Lakers, expectations were much lower. The pressure on Lonnie should be greater after his most recent showings. If he continues to improve, good for him. .
I'm happy for Air Walker I know he is not mentally normal with all the shit he's been through that's probably why he is not a star player I always notice how he gets scared in certain situations but he can breakout…cool to see LeBron and AD around him giving him his props but sucks it's with the Lakers o well rather not have Curry tie Timmy with the rings
Naw Spurs definitely didn’t handle Lonnie right…. All the way up until his last game with the Spurs he was the only young guy actually putting in full effort on both ends and Pop decided he wasn’t even good enough to play to end the game….. we wasted his first 3 years in the league giving his minutes to guys like Marco and Bryn etc and pop giving him an extremely short leash instead trying to fight for the 9th seed with demar 🤡 Lonnie unfortunately showed up 3 years too early on the team to fully get the best out of his first few NBA years. Spurs mismanaged 2019-2022 as a whole and Lonnie was a part of that. He never had the ultimate green light to learn and grow. He could have ended up just as average as we see him now BUT we didn’t give him the chance to become something more.
He has had 2 good games in his career. Last night's and the one game vs the Rockets. He plateaued and SA gave up on him. Wish him the best.
pop held lonnie down
This I think honestly best way you could use Lonnie. Just a matter of him being ready and not discontent. If they gave him consistent role you have to imagine warts come up. But who he is one of those players rhag benefits also being in a different system
Whether the Lakers win or lose the next game, Lonnie will score about four points.
