Getting STOMPED in the play in 2 years in a row is enough reason to move on. That being said, I think he could’ve done better with a better center. Won’t know if it’s a good or bad move til we see what the new guy can do.

I never understood the JB hate. Lamelo is turning into a great number 1 option. Bridges is turning into a solid second option. We went from a squad full of not good players, to a bunch of players that could play roles on a lot of teams. Unfortunately we were still offensively heavy, defensively iffy players and have had no rim protectors at all.
Until we get an actual Center we are going to be a play in team. I would have liked to see more of our young guys quicker, but the slow growth of our young guys has worked so far to keep us getting a little better each year. JB seemed to be good at player development this far.
It sucks getting blown out back to back years in the playin. But does anyone actually think we are better than the top 6 teams in the east right now?
I don’t think Borrego was the best coach ever by any means, but making a big change right now, to a team that was going in the right direction scares me. Don’t get me wrong, I hope all you guys are right that wanted Borrego gone. I’ve just seen a lot of bad decisions before JB and Mitch Kupchak- who knows for how much longer he’ll still be here either.
Let’s hope MJ can get a choice right. He’s due I guess.

Borrego deserved to be fired bad rotations not playing young guys is worth being fired. Sam Cassell is a good replacement.
