I mean majority of these are just part of the game. Both teams are physical, the only one that looks bad is Bam just standing on Brunson’s ankle and making no effort to move after accidentally landing on it. Caleb Martin close out was more egregious.

Imo the only egregious one here is the brunson ankle stand, specially bc hexstood on it for an extra 2-3 seconds. The rest can all be excused as hard physical playoff bball

Now the guy literally repositioning his foot into Brunson’s landing was. Zeller walking and hugging. Bams illegal screen on Grimes. Butler shoulder checking people in the back while in the air for a board. Lowry arm barring people.
Heat are doing alot of dirty shit that could fill a much longer highlight reel.

Funny thing is, Heat fans and even some of r/NBA were starting to call Hart dirty for his plays on Butler earlier in the series.
All of them, even the neutrals, oddly silent about Bam. Particularly ironic since the~~y~~ exact thing they were complaining about is Hart and Jimmy’s ankle.

I’m more of an NHL guy (Rangers RIP), and watching this series, I’ve said many times to my fellow NYK/NYR buds how much Miami has really reminded me of when they play Pittsburgh or Washington, who I interchangeably refer to as “the softest dirty team in the league.” So much low-key dirty bullshit and non-calls coupled with flops and dives and crying to officials.
We really missing having a veteran big like Taj Gibson to give hard fouls.
This is when you need a big guy on your bench you can put in to do some old school enforcing
