[DiGiovanni] P.J. Tucker, asked about the level of comfort the Sixers feel by playing at home tonight: “None. There’s no comfort in the playoffs. All the way, it’s gonna be tough, it’s gonna be a dog fight, they’re gonna give us everything they got. We gotta be locked in for it.”

  1. > P.J. Tucker was reminded of when, during training camp, he pointed out that no one else in the starting lineup was a big talker.

    >He said that “the group, completely, has changed from those days” and that Tobias Harris “talks a lot more now.”

If the sixers win this series, Tucker yelling at embiid in game 4 will be an all-time sixers moment

God bless PJ Tucker. What a fuckin’ leader.

I need a video of Maxey and Paul Reed being led into a jail cell pre-game where PJ gives them a Scared Straight speech about playoff pressure.

    Great to know!

You can’t afford to give your opponent any sense of confidence, especially in pivotal games like tonight.

They all need to be locked in from beginning to end.

Eagles and Phillies all got it done at home (granted those were conference finals games to advance to the big Championship games but point still stands) and now it’s the 76ers turn to do the same.

We’ve seen games where Harden, Embiid, and Maxey all dominated either together or separately.

Having all 3 of them along with the rest of the team go all out tonight would be amazing.

This man’s DAWG/36 is the highest in nba history

And we got the biggest dog for the dog fight.

  8. Never lied just be locked in and ready for a fucking back and forth game all night long

It’s scary to me how much this teams culture and motivation relies on PJ. Dude has to do everything.

I know this sub isn’t dick eating PJ now after all the shit talking in here over the course of the season.

Oh hell yeah. I prefer my PJs uncomfortable.

I think defeating the Celtics with their backs against the wall is going to be the hardest game for any team in the NBA to win. We’ll get two shots at it but hopefully the Sixers take care of business tonight.

Marcus Smart is gonna spend the game diving at Joel knees

its a coaching cliche, but the team that is comfortable being uncomfortable comes through. first time since Iverson I’ve had faith our guys are on the side that seems to want those moments

Would PJ Tucker in Paul Reed’s body be the greatest basketball player and motivational speaker of all time?

Fuck Silver for taking those picks from us but honestly, worth it. Tucker’s been such a huge add for this team and their mentality in the playoffs
