Im fine with Melton trade. We end with Roddy + Kennard that are more valuable to me than Melton. If Melton was 6'5" and had more lenght I would give him more time, but he is not a longterm solution.
Maybe the Kennard issue is one of coaching and scheme. I'm happy for D'Anthony and will not have regrets for moving especially when Roddy was part of the return. No jealousy, just good memories.
every GM in the league does not have a perfect record with their roster moves. The grizzlies have 4 1st round and 5 2nd round picks between the 2023 and 2025 off seasons. There is enough draft capital and players to make the type of roster moves they need to get to the conference finals.
Melton was 0-5 and 0-4 from 3 for 0 points in 24 minutes last night, is that what we’re missing?
NO JAE CROWDER…that is a CLEAR downgrade from Dillon Brooks
Melton is a better offensive fit in the playoffs playing with the size of Philly than he would've been staying in Memphis.
