[Beer] RJ Barrett is just the 12th player in NBA history age 22 or younger to average 20+ points per game while shooting > 45% from the floor over the first ten games of a postseason

Impressive company!

RJ may have been average or below average throughout the season, but once playoffs were in order dude showed and proved.

Heart, grind, maturity. He’s been amazing.

Also, it’s only him and Brunson that never give bone headed, fucked up post game interviews.

And by the time we get to finals game 5 where we wrap up this glorious run, he will be at the top of the list with the most points.

Edit: real talk even if we fail tonight, he is going to be behind Kobe. Not bad company at all.

  4. I am so happy and proud of RJ. After having 2 awful games to start the playoff, listening to ppl/morons say that RJ should be bench for the rest of the playoffs, Barrett has responded so well. Exceeding all expectations. I hope he continues to shine like this.

    Draft RJ, Keep RJ

PS. RJ > Randle.. I believe RJ can become a leader Randle could never be

Love some classic cherry picked Beer stats

    The tale of two seasons as defined by conjunctions;

    And he’s only 22

    But he’s only 22

I’m happy he turned it around in the playoffs. I hope he carries this into next year. It would massively change the calculations for this team if he plays like this next year.

I truly wonder when you fellows will understand that this kid is not regular.

RJ needs to exhibit sustained good defense and efficient scoring to prove himself. A great 8 games is awesome but we already knew he was capable of that.

I’m excited by these playoffs for him but we’ve been down the road of thinking he’s figured it out long term before.

  10. He’s shown up for most of these playoffs. Gotta give it to him

whoever wrote this needs a life… wayyyyy too specific of a “stat”

Did those same players play as many minutes

Imagine if he didn’t have the 2 bad offensive games against Cleveland. He would be shooting over 55%
