Went down fighting against an experienced championship coach and team. Knicks are going to make the right moves off-season, get another shooter and will be even better next year. Great season!! Knicks are coming

  2. grilledcheesewannabe

    Jalen Brunson appreciation thread *

  3. brunson is the future of this team. quite literally everyone else is shoppable

  4. sweatyfish4

I guess Randle doesnt want it enough to go and foul at the end. SMFH

  5. beanie_mac

Everyone outside of Brunson sold unfortunately.

Still a great season im going to remember. Thank you Knicks.

We’ll be back. And we’ll be better.

  6. InB4Clive

We gotta get Brunson some shooters next year.

  7. InevitableHearing112

bro called air when the season was on the line.

  8. YanksJetsKnicks

Thank you Brunson for an amazing season. That’s all I have to say.

  9. NotThisSh1tAgain

If only ONE of RJ or Randle showed up, we would’ve won. I’m tired of both of them. Find a legit star player to pair with Brunson. Nobody on this bitch ass, airball a wide open 3 team is untouchable, besides him.

  10. chuteboxhero

THAT WAS THE WORST WIDE OPEN SHOT IN THE HISTORY OF BASKETBALL!

  11. Hate it or love it. Thank you, Knicks. No one thought we’d be here but we advanced.

This one hurts since Jimmy didn’t have a good game. Extremely winnable but things always felt stagnant and coughed it up at the end. The things we got away with last series unfortunately caught up with us. Our bench a clear weak spot and that showed with our struggle to score. Call that a coaching mistake or whatever but it was missed. Randle just played so… without urgency? Going for side step 3s and playing impatient just was not it. You expected him to step up and perform and he did not. RJ will get flack for this game and rightfully so. I do think the foul trouble didn’t really let him get in a groove. He was attacking and that was good but had a terrible 2nd half. Had a solid series but disappointing way to end off some fantastic leaps and games. Jalen Brunson. Master class. Nothing but exceptional. The league can ignore the awards and respect during the season but he plays like a top 5-10 player in the playoffs. Incredible play. Being the youngest team in the current playoffs, it’s obvious this was going to show with Grimes and IQ. Proud of our guys and this season. 2 playoff appearances in 3 years, young, and a lot directions we can go.

Mods can you make an official exit interview post? So this way we can have everyone’s closing remarks on the season/playoffs. I know that after I make a post I’m going to stay away and possibly mute the sub for a bit since it’ll be filled with those types of posts and opinions.

  13. bigblue20072011

The moment was too big for everyone but Brunson

  15. Felt my soul leave my body on that Brunson turnover 😞

Thanks for a fun season, damn shame we couldn’t pull that one out. Felt like the game was handed to us but RJ and Julius felt different

  16. Randle 20 percent from the field, Barrett 10 percent, what the fuck. Brunson was a one man team.

  17. All we needed was literally anyone but Brunson to hit shots and they just couldn’t do it.

Say what you want about IQ during these playoffs but this game showed exactly why we need him

  18. BaldSportsFan

Frustrating end to a season that was much better than expected. The future looks promising but the Knicks need to capitalize in the offseason.

  19. smileyfrown

    Brunson amazing season

RJ amazing playoffs tough last game

Randle you didn’t show up at the biggest moments that’s incredibly disappointed

Overall great season we definitely shocked people

    Youngest team in the playoffs

  20. West-Entertainment-5

I don’t think you can show me a less interested player than Julius today

  21. 4-24 is nuts for your 2nd and 3rd options in an elimination game

  22. Accomplished_Power_3

It really behooves me why obi was taken out in the 4th Q he was playing so well and spacing the floor. The second Randles came back in we lost the game

  23. starks3_

    Heck of a year.

Can’t wait for next season but this group is/was genuinely likeable. Didn’t end like we wanted but we haven’t even begun really. Proud of every single player on this roster, the adversity and callouts and expectations were there early and never subsided. More experience, more failures, more film.

wrap jalen brunson in bubble wrap forever

  24. Affectionate-Tea9224

    Brunson is everything Randle isn’t

  25. Hemispheres33

We have a superstar point guard in his prime. That’s a positive.

RJ is the youngest guy in the rotation and had an overall great postseason. He looked as bad as he ever had at the worst possible moment. He can be a long term piece but certainly not untouchable if the right opportunity to upgrade comes along.

Randle needs to go. He’s been absolutely trash for the second consecutive playoffs. Struggling shooting is one thing but the lack of effort has been infuriating.

Gotta re-sign IQ and Hart despite their struggles.

Outside Randle, Grimes was my biggest disappointment these playoffs. He looked absolutely shook on offense all post season.

  26. Drew13800

13 made shots for everyone outside of brunson is one of the most pathetic stats I’ve ever seen. Truly mind blowing

  27. Academic-Value1876

Get Randle the fuck off this team

  28. BeingMikeHunt

    Fun season

    Proud of the team

Yet again, Randle didn’t do the job in the playoffs.

We need more shooting, but with Brunson leading the charge, this team can be a perennial playoff contender

  29. wizardofweird

Just a reminder, we would never have made it as far as we did without RJ playing his ass off

Randle however barely played 10 quarters of even season average basketball all playoffs

  30. Oprahapproves

I hope Randle takes his inflated ego and finally shoves it up his ass. No way you watch Brunson put on a masterclass while you put up 3-15 and think you’re still the star.

This is Brunson’s team and city, move aside Julius
