First, let me say Brunson has been amazing for his tenure. Excellent signing. Dude belongs here.
But…
Throughout this series dude has had instances where he should have used his teammates better and looked for them more because either the defense was keying in or him or he just didn’t have it that night.
Just tonight, his last turnover by the baseline in the fourth he had not one, not two, but three white jerseys around him and had opportunity early when the trap initially came to get it out clean to Hart at the top of the key for a wide open three. Instead he decided to try to dribble through the trap and ran into a third heat defender and a turnover during a critical possession with the game still within reach.
Again, he’s been great but I’m sure that’s one he wishes he had back.
It wasn’t the only time this game or during the series though and I wish people would acknowledge the efforts of this entire team who won together and lost together instead of picking their favorites and then shitting on the rest of the team or individuals for whatever weird reason (not directed at any one particular person).

I find it inexplicable that the other starters could not buy a basket all the while Brunson was being doubled. With the season on the line, I would have wanted Thibs to put out a lineup with more shooters.

Who do you guys think we should sign next year? Or even draft to help the team?

Totally winnable game. Blame is all on RJ and Randle for not stepping up when needed to. Team looked lost out there offensively when the ball wasn’t in Brunsons hand. Time to Fire Thibs, hire a coach who can make a team work together (Buddenholzer) and trade for a player who can contribute to scoring

On the one hand we have not enough ball movement and too much ISO, which makes it easy for the defense as we’re so predictable. On the other hand we have only one shooter on our whole roster (Brunson), so we’re very limited on offense. We need to get Brunson more help. Thibs whole “read and react” philosophy doesn’t hold water if only one of our players can reliably shoot.
