They really exist in a different universe over there at r/nba

    A post dissng JVG & ESPN…

    >The whole series. It’s been torture to listen to him and Jackson. So positive toward Steph and the Warriors, and took shots at LeBron and the lakers whenever they could.

This comment is around +100 at the moment

  2. Equivalent_Bat1816

This has been the worst warriors season in recent history.

  3. muzinger

If Klay doesn’t agree to an extension around 4/60-80m, I can see him getting moved.

  4. wentzvania

the lakers were the bigger, deeper, and more versatile team. they also have 2 legit superstars

meanwhile we have a bunch of 1 dimensional players outside of Steph despite our high payroll

FO has done an awful job of building around steph

  5. Shinnobiwan

Reports are Klay is taking a pay cut to stay, Dray is going to stay, and Dubs are looking for ways to acquire KAT.

Also looking to move Poole and Kuminga.

Steph at this level is a 🏆window in itself. Can’t waste it.

We need a big. Last year, we have Loon and Beli, but they’re effective. This year, it’s just Loon. We don’t have another center to rely on. Wiseman was supposed to be that guy, but he didn’t developed, and was traded. JMG was hot garbage for most of the season. And Lamb… Yeah, basketball wise, he’s just not good.

Loon is still great, but we need a backup that can hold the fort while Looney is on the bench. Hopefully, once the Dubs keeps Bob and finally figured out the situation if Klay and Dray’s contracts, targeting a big is their priority.

  7. Equivalent_Bat1816

Klay this series was worse than Harrison Barnes in 2016. Criminal.

  8. TheRed_Knight

Its fucking wild to me how the main sub has turned the fucking Lakers, the eternal goddamned enemy, into the good guys, guess tiktok+insta really does rot the brain

EDIT: Also what is up the Lakers fans and these really fucking bad attempts at shit talking? Do kids nowadays just not learn how to chop it up?

  9. Kuroyukito

Warriors need size. Every team remaining has size.

  10. Last few games of the SAC series were 1-day breaks, all 7 games of this series were scheduled with a 1 day break, and the WCF if we won would be every other day as well.

Don’t think we would have won the championship this year even if we beat the Lakers, the big 3 are getting older and need more rest days, playing every other day for 2-3 weeks you could see that they were gassed a lot of Klay’s shots were short. Would have been nice to beat LeBron and advance since you never know as long as you have Stephen Curry

  11. _bxris18

I hope we keep Wiggins, I want Kuminga to stay but he has to work on defense and shooting in the off season. Moody should stay too. Klay should take a pay cut and start from the Bench.

If JP stays he has to work on his defense and learn Basketball IQ from Steph

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BUILD AROUND STEPH

  12. Kuroyukito

People saying the core needs help, we need a better bench etc.

Steph has the help in the starting lineup. Our starting lineup (+Poole) couldn’t even help the scoring load off him. Nobody could dribble or shoot and collapse defenses.

You’re paying most of the salary cap to Wiggins, Klay and in the future Poole (if he’s still around). None of them helped Steph offensively consistently to live up to their contracts. Dray gets a pass because he does everything else. Wiggs was injured I guess.

You’re expecting vet mins who are gonna make 1/10th of single max contract to relieve the scoring load when our starting lineup outside of Steph can’t score by themselves consistently? We have the help, it’s just that they don’t show up. Expecting vet mins to address our primary issues is wishful thinking.

It’s been an exhausting season tbh. The writing on the wall was evident early on; offseason departures, lack of bench depth. Our road record was no fluke and at this point it’s fair to criticize the “two timelines” plan. It simply didn’t work. We could’ve packaged our two 2021 first round picks for a reliable starter and a depth piece; we needed guys who could play *right away* and for god knows what reason the front office thought otherwise. That said, I’m still grateful for the 4 parades; they’re more than I ever thought I’d see in my lifetime.

    *e: typo*

  14. thegreatsentry409

Can anyone explain why the free throw differential in this game was 42 to 14 in favour of the Lakers?? It’s really bizarre.

  15. wentzvania

Steph is loyal to a fault, he might want to to keep the core together. but at some point he’s gonna face a choice: compete for more championships or play with dray + klay

dray and klay shouldn’t be making more than 18 mil each if this team wants to seriously compete

Poole needs to be gone period.

  16. Low_Opening_2195

Reaves outscored Klay, Wiggins, and Poole…… combined! Pathetic performance when it mattered most. The shots were just not falling

  17. tbh take a step back and realize that the warriors look “mortal” for the first time in a long time and the league has a party about it. be grateful for all the success we’ve had over the past few years

  18. Resonate-

It’s Steph Curry and the Warriors Vs NBA/Adam Silver/Nike

  19. ImTheBestNerd

Praying for the Sixers downfall. Embiid YOU ARE A GOLDEN STATE WARRIOR

  20. gilbert1908

Main subs be changing narratives every seconds but it was horrendous this time around, compare their energy from when Lakers didnt make the playoffs last year and now i’ve seen Celtics, Kings, Grizzlies flairs praise Lakers like its the second coming of christ

  21. Prior-Rooster3232

tatum posted his message to kobe on ig, and klay mentioned him on his interview, and they both played bad 😭😭😭

  22. sh1r0_n3k0

Like I said before. I truly believe in Nike conspiracy theory. I really hate to make an excuse by blaming the refs, etc like a loser but watching game 1 and game 3 against Lakers shows that’s a big fact that refs were totally favoring Lakers. In the end it’s fine. Steph legacy is already secured from the last championship. I just wish Joker and Denver could obliterate Lakers and won it all at the end.

  23. Altruistic-Twist-379

Well like ive said this loss wasnt that heartbreaking, thing is we couldve won the series if some guys have stepped up and helped steph, but hey you cant win em all,

All that dynasty ending is bs as long we have the core, i just hope FO make some moves this offseason, dont draft if we cant develop them case closed, we contend now, and we gotta win now. We’ll bounce back. This offseason bout to go crazy.

Love this team and ride till i die with it. Ima root for the heat tho to win this whole thing.

  24. wentzvania

for steph’s legacy, it probably would have been better to lose in a competitive first round series against the Kings especially if he lost while posting a 50 point game

losing against Lebron will be used against him by fans and pundits when it comes to his legacy. it’s not fair, but it is what it is

  25. note: never mention kobe in a playoff series as you will play bad and lose in 6

  26. InfiniteDub

Moses has been the bright spot this playoffs

“This is kind of how life works,” Kerr told me. “I don’t mind frustration at all. I want them to be frustrated, and I want them to compete and work and get better for next year. And their time’s coming. You could see it with Moses. Moses had a breakthrough. I felt it in the last few weeks of the season watching him in practice every day. You could see it in the playoffs. He was the first guy to the offensive glass, the first guy to loose balls, rotating early. All the things that we preach, he finally started doing consistently. And that’s why he played in the playoffs. But those things don’t happen overnight. And they’re all hugely key.”

  27. Outrageous_Hamster_6

It was deadass Steph vs. 9 out there. The Lakers, and his own teammates.

  28. so going into the off szn: win now or build for the future?
