I have no idea what but Luka was clearly dealing with something heavy towards the end of the year, with no context I think holding him accountable for their collapse is harsh.
Imagine in the preseason, the Mavs let Brunson go to to the Knicks FOR NOTHING (and helped the New York reach the 2nd round of the playoffs before eliminated by the Heat), and mid season traded for Kyrie (which is uncertain if he's going to stay or leave) eventually cost them on defense and missed the playoffs or even the play-in.
The mistake they did to Nash just repeated itself.
