They will bring in Steve Nash to coach kd and co and win chip😂😂
A good man , a solid coach but unless they went to at least to 7 games in the Conference finals he was dead man walking if only becauseva new owner usually comes in with a "wish list" of new coaches and it was even more likely since as a former collegiate player Ishbia likely thinks he knows more than he actually does. I think they will still shop Ayton but firing Williams means that if they cannot get a deal for Ayton then they can hope Ayton may play better for another coach.
That means CP3 is gone too. The suns might or might not repair their relationship with Ayton
Appreciate coach for helping to restore a winning (NBA) mentality in the Valley, he will be missed. Ishbia wants to win and win now. He knows he's got an aging superstar in KD and time is of the essence. Ishbia obviously felt coach wasn't the right man for the job.
Send Monty to Shanghai 🐅
I can smell Mike Budenholzer getting hired. He is a better fit for veterans like KD and CP3. Monty is great with younger talent that needs to be developed, imo.
Isaiah Thomas? He would be a great choice to run basketball operations for the Suns. He ruined the Knicks….he can also ruin the Suns.
The 2 coaches that coached agaisnt each other in 2021 in the finals got fired just weeks apart from each other
Great Coach, Suns an L
Monty needed to go. The Suns were up 2-0 in the finals a few years back and lost that series to the Bucks. Last year and this year, they get blown out and eliminated at home in second round playoff series! Ayton quit on the team and faked an injury to sit out a playoff game because he was tired of Jokic kicking his ass!!
Kevin Durant is a career to coaches. He’s not going to win you a championship, so stop with this notion that he’s the best player in the league
The Suns owner is a total idiot! He trades all his draft picks two young star players for an aging oft injured Durant who has never won anything outside of riding on the Warriors bus! Good luck with that!
mixed feelings about this move. i know kd and monte have worked together with team usa. it’s just unfortunate to see kd go through so many coaches is where i’m getting at
Monty Williams will be the next Sixers coach after they fire Doc Rivers
Dumb move. you have no bench and injuries paid a huge role in a top heavy roster. cant even give the dude a full season with the team.
Warriors should hire him as the associate HC if Kenny Atkinson leaves
good move – its been these 3times suns were eliminated- he givs up so quickly he still hav durant bookr –
That a lesson to him, once they loosed the game he keep complaining.
KD that's two coaches who have been fired under your watch…smh…
I knew Monny was finna get toasted.
When you allow the other team to go on a 20-0 run making no adjustments and calling no timesouts with Booker on the floor with 4 bench players it's time for you to go. Can't get blown out two years in a row at home and keep your job.
Monty Williams and the Bucks seem like a good combo.
Monty Williams didn't know how to make adjustments nor did he get his players ready to play in elimination games.. he deserves to be fired. They also needs to cut ties with Paul., he's hurt when he's needed most.
Now get rid of CP3 and Ayton.
The players lose the game not the coach he can’t make em play good defense or offense all he can do is coach them
Maybe he had provided some quarantees when they went and got KD. Must have sanctioned the trade
I always wondered what Montel Williams did after the stopped his TV show.
Monty is amazing for culture change but not for a veteran team
