tree's dunk even got a replay with mike fratello (his coach when he played in ATL, aka the czar of the telestrator) diagramming how he got open.
that's showing respect to a player who got such little playing time with DET that year.

Whoa! Tree Rollins with an assist from Scott Hastings! Need context. As a side note: Quick story about Scott Hastings… he was on “Fast Break” demonstrating how he practiced shooting and warming up. I used his drill growing up , while I played HS ball and even beyond recreationally and by myself. (Ryan would love to see that video I that I saw once almost 25 years ago that served me for my career!). And thank you Scott Hastings for being a great Piston !

At one point the Bad Boys had William Bedford, and Tree Rollins. Everyone called Bedford the future so with Tree and him It was "the future" and the "past!"
