and that wizards group was WAY more fun to watch play ball than this philly group

Everyone craps on the process, but despite spectacularly screwing up nearly every draft pick, the Sixers are out there with a competitive team anyway.

Shows how hard it is to win in the NBA. Embiid and Jokic are obviously better than Beal, but they’re all still in the No Rings Club, soo….

They really should’ve kept Jimmy over Tobias.

  5. Sometimes I wish what would’ve been like if we got Al Horford with these guys

We can’t really talk about Philly.

The people who saw Wes Unseld win a MVP are likely dead now..

  7. The process failed last year. This year just removed all doubt and all arguments to the contrary. The process started for literally this reason – because the Sixers kept getting to game 7s in the semifinals and couldn’t get out of the 2nd round.

They’re exactly where they started when they came up with the process. The process failed. It’s 100% over.

The Wiz had their own version of the process to get the Wall/Beal team but the important thing to remember is building though the draft is not guaranteed to get you a championship but refusing to build though the draft guarantees you will max out as a sub 50 win team with zero hopes of improving.

There are a few teams that don’t necessarily need to follow this rule (Lakers, Heat) and a few teams that get extremely lucky later in the draft (Bucks, Nuggets) but for the most part you must have multiple top 5 picks over the course of multiple years to build a contender

sorry bro. but they probably don’t even think about us.

  10. This seems more like a reminder reminding us how dog shit our management and team is. We’re not in the same tier as the Sixers.
