Loser. He sucked ass when it mattered and he has the balls to say that shit

You’re not taking steps if you can’t get past the 2nd round

Except Giannis actually has won it all, so when he says this it’s because he understands what it takes to get it done and recognizes the things that can be salvaged from the season and use them to get to the finish line.

Lmao bro u can tell he doesn’t not care, like bro your team just got embarrassed cuz of YOU. Giannis gave his all and injured, yet 1 round champ over here thinks Giannis quote is funny.

Maybe I’m wrong but how are y’all taking offense to this? I don’t see the malice here for him not directly crediting Giannis on a quote from two weeks ago. I get it that we don’t like the Sixers and everything but if the statement can be true for Giannis and the Bucks, it can be true for Embiid and the Sixers.

If Embiid wanted to be shitty towards Giannis he could’ve said something about winning the mvp this year or making it out of the first round this year but do we really expect him to quote Giannis in MLA format like it’s a high school English paper?

He’s so uninspiring. He talked about also in the post game that it can’t just be him and James out there. Uh…?

  7. #Except the guy who said it is the only one who won the ring alone (without a former MVP) under 27. Cry about it

Im not sure it’s a dig. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Joel was very quick to ask JJ in that interview awhile back why he hadn’t listed Giannis in his top 3, and to hear Giannis speak on Embiid, I genuinely think there’s respect between the two.

The smile and the little head-shake, in my opinion, are because he knows everyone knows who he’s referring too, because Giannis’ speech kinda set the sports world on fire. I think it resonated with a lot of people (myself included) and so Embiid is just taking the advice too and moving forward, taking things a step at a time.
