Not saying Masai is perfect but it was smart to not give away our players for a bunch of second round picks when FOs around the league were overconfident in their roster

People got this kind of wrong, offers won’t necessarily be better now, but the similar offers will again be on the table for the teams that didn’t/don’t win. So the same shit offers.

Not giving him credit until he actually does something

So the offers will now be better for both OG and Pascal who will now be on expiring contracts?
Similar ones might be, but better offers? I doubt it

There are two differences now. 1 after Tuesday there should be a lot more teams willing to trade picks in this year’s draft. Nobody was going to risk trading away a Wemby lottery ticket and see it hit for someone else. That would be a sure way for a gm to get fired.
2 a lot of teams likely thought they were doing well enough at the deadline to go with what they have. A lot of teams now know they need to upgrade. Phoenix for one, maybe Gokd n State,, Memphis is in disarray and then there are teams looking to level up like Portland to keep their star happy or some of the recent taking teams ready to move up.
The point is the market may not be better but it should be more active with more teams looking to trade after Tuesday.

everyone was like “lol ur just a biased raptors fan if you don’t think the cavs are contenders”
or “scottie is great but mobley is an all-star candidate in his 2nd year”
or “look how much SHOOTING and MOVEMENT the kings have!!!”
or “randle is just better than siakam take off ur homer glasses”
or “bro look at donovan mitchell’s 50 pieces in the regular season, we need SHOOTING in the playoffs not REBOUNDING”
All these years and the healthy Sixers’ best shot vs the Celtics was getting 30 pieced in game 7. Even when Pascal was just plain bad in the bubble, it was still a competitive game

Some of those losers will end up being sellers and become a bigger priority than us for buyers

Stop defending the mans and what he says until he actually does something, so far it looks like nothing of significance will happen yet again

There are levels to what kind of loser you are though.

Ah so this is going to be the official Masai parroted phrase this summer.
He’s done nothing, until he does something, it’s all just words.
