Why he drafted Stroud easy Houston needed a QB why is this even a question

so happy we got cj. his throwing mechanic is smooth and compact. I love it.
I always preferred Stroud over young. He has a better arm, is more accurate, and is 6-3, 220 pounds. I hope they both have great careers but my money is on Stroud.
Jake makes a good point. Had the kick been good, Stroud is all anyone talks about. They probably beat TCU……. Does Carolina still trade for the #1 overall pick though? As Texan's fans, all we can hope is Stroud ends up being the best QB in this draft.
Vince Young leading a victory over USC was a bigger accomplishment than stroud leading vs Georgia. How'd the predraft process grade Vince young? It turned out to be accurate. How'd the predraft process grade stroud? Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be accurate…but it usually does.
It just means Stroud > Young.
Both had 11-2 records. One got stomped by Georgia one lost to Georgia on a last minute field goal miss. They both threw the ball accurately but Stroud was more accurate.
Both threw for over 3000 yards. Young threw for less than 3500 Stroud for more than 3500. Young threw 31 tds and Stroud threw 41. Stroud is bigger and fits the ideal height and weight. Young is very undersized. Young runs because he has to, C J can run but does not have to. It was a no brainer for me.

If Houston didn't win the last game and ended up with the #1 pick… They would have drafted Young. Be glad Ohio State missed the Field Goal, and be glad Houston won the last game. We got the right QB by accident.

Cj needs to build chemistry with this team…then it's going to get scary for our division. Keep building the oline & dline.also we need receivers to step up this year.
