This man is our MVP. Most Valuable Person. He is humble, gracious, hard working, down to earth and just so happens to be the greatest basketball player on Earth.
He does not whine. He does not throw his teammates under the bus. He uplifts those around him. He supports his tribe. He loves his family, horses, and basketball. He has no interest in turning himself into a market.
He is on our beloved Denver Nuggets and I could not be more thankful that he is the MVP that we get to root for. LFG

I saw a 6ers fan crying about how they had 4 chances to pick Jok in 2014, but so did all the other teams, including the Nuggz, but nobody really had a reason to jump out of their seats for his stat lines.
Jokic averaged 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists in the Adriatic league in 2014-2015. That was *after* we drafted him, and he had a bigger role that year than previous years partly because of being drafted.
He also had a bad diet (3L of soda a day) and was a bit overweight. He had to do a lot of conditioning to get in shape for the NBA and most scouts had issues with his body type.
Basically, all the FO knew at draft time was that he had a good feel for the game, could pass/shoot well for a 7ft big, and had a soft touch around the rim. EVERYONE underrated his passing, scoring, and ability to handle the ball.
My point is… he has really improved and excelled in every aspect of the game since his arrival. That obviously has a lot to do with his natural talent, but something must be said about how hard this man has worked to get to where he is, and get this team to where we are. He deserves all the praise!!!
