Not sure why they had Imbiid trying to guard the three point perimeter against him over and over. No way he could stop it and that took him out of rebounding position. Doc screwed that up.

Embiid should ask his friend Harden to call Hakeem Olajuwon and ask him for lessons in post moves. We tend to say he has post moves but all he does is turnaround jumpers. He should have more. In the playoffs, when shots don't fall, you need to make your defender leave his feet or lose you so you can go to the rim. If it's not for speed, you have to do it with footwork. He doesn't have it.

VC did make a point about the process. It did work in that we were able to put together a team for the last several years that could actually contend for a championship when healthy. And we win 50+ games regularly. I actually think we rushed the process after that first year we went to the playoffs. Instead of letting guys like fultz develop, and really seeing if Simmons can improve, we decided to trade away all of our assets. And that led to losing out on Butler, paying Simmons, paying Tobi. I think our only saving grace now is that we have Maxey and Embiid. I think we can do away with everyone else, maybe keep Reed, and low key I think we have something in Jaden Springer, we just need a coach that is more open to trying out his young talent, and is able to improve Embiid's IQ to work on fundamentals like setting good screens, holding on to the ball strong, boxing out, and understanding when to use his perimeter game and when to dominate inside. He's got to understand that Simmons ain't on the court anymore. He's got guards with him that can dribble, pass, and shoot.

This season for 76ers looks like the whole team is playing barbie with Embiid, the whole team had to patiently help Embiid to achieve his MVP, give him little gifts and stuff to groom his hair the right way so he can in turn help the team in the playoffs. But in the end, he decides to go back to his ball-hogging kiddish plays and ruins everything.
