Alan Hahn proving that he always will be a moron. The play in tournament was to make more money, it has nothing to do with incentivizing winning. In fact, it tells teams to coast even more.
The Miami Heat finished 4 games above the Chicago Bulls this year and nearly didn't make it to the playoffs. Last year, the Clippers finished 6 games ahead of the Pelicans and they didn't get to be in the playoffs.
