The clippers owner has said multiple times he’ll never tank, which means they aren’t trading either kawhi or PG this year. If your goal is to win a title on what planet do you trade away a championship level coach for second round picks? That makes Absolutely no sense
Paul George and kawhi are injury prone for sure, but “kawhi might never be the same” what?! He tore his meniscus, that’s not even remotely close to the severity of tearing an acl, and kawhi came back from that and outplayed KD and booker in both games, while playing on a meniscus tear. With all the talk about how many games kawhi misses he played more games than kd and booker this year coming off a torn acl.
The only way the suns get Tlue is if they think they can find a better coach, or that he flat out throws games. Which would be career suicide.
Last thing and this might just be me, but T lue doesn’t give a fuck about the regular season, why would he want to coach two guys who have basically quit and gave up on their teams in the playoffs? Yeah kawhi and pg are injury prone, but I’d much rather take a chance on injury prone guys and hope they stay healthy over guys who have been healthy and still haven’t even come close to winning it all.

Last summer the idea of getting KD seemed like a pipe dream and we ended up with him. I won’t be surprised getting Tye Lue. All I could think during the clippers series is that I wish we had him.
If we don’t get him I’d love to get Willie Green back, he was a big part of that finals run 2 years ago.

As much as I’d love Ty lue for a coach I don’t see it becoming a reality at all… just one way they’d let him go
It's all about attitude and building a culture for me. Nick Nurse is overweight and yells at refs for the most ridiculous calls like he has no shame and thinks arguing is part of being a coach. He had no respect from good players he had. Mike B is the same and might be okay coach but low IQ everywhere else. Ty Lue might be the best option from these but let's not try predict he would be perfect and fit in like a glove, we just don't know that. I like a Jack Vaughn type 100%.. No soft coaches but no overly hard coaches that just yell their way to a win. Tactfulness is key

The only other coach I would choose over Him would be Eric in Miami but you know how that goes. It'll be like the Pope in The vatican. He'll be there till the day he dies. Hey Gabe! Well seasons over! I think next year will be better. Either way it was fun watching game with you and sundo! Also I found out you have a big red pod cast! I've been a husker fan since 83 so I'll check you out this year. Its funny cuz im a yankees, cowboys suns. And in college tar heels in bb and Nebraska in football. I have met many people that like my other teams but I never thought I would see someone who liked Nebraska and suns! Im excited for rhule and what he brings.
