And I’m “very serious” I don’t give a fuck anymore.

  2. PessimistSixersFan

Fine by me if he goes but it sucks that Morey wasted the last bit of assets/picks on this guy

  3. hotjawn

Removing raw emotions, this is good news if he leaves. Cant replace his salary but we don’t need to be giving out albatross contracts to old players.

We are almost done with Tobias’ contract, don’t need another one.

  4. BabaBrody

Makes next season really tough roster wise if he walks for nothing. Morey salvaging something out of a sign and trade would be enormous.

I get that we are in a tough spot if he leaves for nothing, but I really don’t want to pay him $180M or whatever the hell it’s going to be either.

I still don’t understand why the rockets would sign him. Unless he takes a significant paycut, what do they get out of it? They’re still a ways away from being competitive

And don’t call him Shirley. Or do, whatever.

Best for all parties involved. Guess he never really wanted a ring that bad tho.

  10. dday3000

Philly is very serious about that happening ASAP.

Good news, now tell me the Sixers are **“very serious”** about firing Doc Rivers.

  12. Lazaraaus

Sucks, but I wouldn’t max him either so.

I think we should prioritize reworking the roster with tobi coming off the books next summer. With Maxeys looming extension, we need to be absolutely clever with how we use our money.

  13. jorgelongo2

Cool, giving him a 4 year max would be a huge ass mistake. If he leaves we may be obliged to blow it which is the best decision

It’s a staring contest. Harden does not want to opt in to his current deal. He wants the Sixers to extend and at a steep price. The rockets are the only team that would realistically give him the money he seeks, and he will go back if they are the only ones who offer it. Harden does make us better but maybe more as a floor raiser than a ceiling play. He doesn’t compete off ball, and his scoring ability comes and goes, so there are nights where he’s draining the shot clock without pressuring the defense. That can’t happen in the playoffs.

Too bad he wasn’t very serious about game 7

  16. LeadingAd6025

I never wanted Harden to take the pay cut tbh. poor man took a pay cut for nothing.

Will be glad if he joins the Rockets and we can throw in Tobi as a freebie!

Only chance to beat Boston next year is to get rid of both Tobi & Harden IMHO!

  17. LCLeopards

I feel like Woj has just been regurgitating the same Harden tweet for months now.

  18. colin_7

Can someone explain why he would want to return? He would be on a rebuilding team and at this point in his career I feel like that doesn’t really make sense

  19. Michael100198

I can’t bring myself to care about this team anymore.

  20. TurnSashaHeel

Is the Ben Harden trade a lose/lose?

  21. BuddyTheDog92

Who cares. Let him go. Trade everyone else. Blow it up.

  22. SlavaRapTarantino

Nightmare scenario is going to happen where he opts out and Morey gives him a 4 year max.

  23. The_Hoff-YouTube

Can Harris or Tucker go with him too. At least two of three need to go and the 76ers need to get younger on talent that stays consistent or talent that picks up the slack enough when others have down nights!
