33 to 10 how does that happen? Offense and Defense!!!! TEAM Basketball.
Unpopular opinion – Tatum is overrated. Generally inconsistent shooter with mediocore defence
I don’t want to hear about Embiid being better than Joker no more.
Doc Rivers didn't make any changes? Wow shocking
The momentum changed with James hardens flagrant, the made 2 feee throws, followed by the lob to rob, and then the jaylin steal and layup into the timeout to be down by one and then Celtics went up 1 and George niang grabbed jaylins knee and from that moment on it was an onslaught
Why JJ aint do a vid on when that FRAUD GIANNIS got eliminated by an 8 seed? Or maybe i missed it lol
If Tatum was always good, he wouldnt have had to be good in a game 7
Huh? Boston was one quarterbaway from lyinching Tatum in the streets!!
Horford went hard last year too, don't know why people sleep on him, especially in the play offs.
2 things:
1. Flagarant foul got the crowd back into the game and gave us the momentum back after being down 8
2. Rob Williams provided Al Horford with a safety net that cannot be overlooked. That being said, Al horford was allowed to turn up his Defense on Joel and he did a phenomenal Job
Philly disappointed in the worse possible way. I'm ashamed.
Even if it is a regular season award, he is still a fraud and has yet to perform in the playoffs. Hes as cursed as CP3.
Embiid shouldn't have won the MVP. Jokic was leading the MVP race until Kendrick Perkins used the race card.
He bro if your house is on 🔥 or your toilet clogged with💩 call today's NBA stars👎🏀
Jokic is real regular season MVP. We all know why Embiid "won" it…
Embiid wasn't hurt in the first 3 games of the playoffs and his scoring was way down in those games too. Actually much lower than what he scored after the injury.
Joel played like the Most Valuable Pedestrian in a Game 7, Horford ate his food
I think the production drop is more the defense improving and less tik tak fouls called for him
ahhh it's so refreshing to hear the mentions, near the end of this clip, of Embiid just having to battle through more than most people do in the playoffs. I'm getting so sick of hearing all my fellow Boston fans and all the Embiid haters talking about how he is a choke artist, he isn't elite, he isn't a superstar that can win a title… It's like, do you people have functional memory? Are you watching him play? People forget the human element of the NBA so easily.
JJ you are my favourite nba analyst by a long shot, but i am shocked Robert Williams name wasn’t mentioned once 12+ minutes. He and Al Horford changed the series on the defensive end.
Williams 3 was too big in the paint behind Horford
Philly plays Joel way too much during the regular season, they gotta find a balance or he will always show up post season with injuries/fatigue.
I am only scared of Butler and Spoelstra other than that Cs in 6
It's been a fun ride watching these young Celtics. Tatum really needed that game to truly level up. I felt like it was premature to put that superstar title on him but he's definitely on his way. At the end of the day they need both him and the more consistent Jaylen Brown to play at a high level for the rest of the playoffs to get that chip.
I blame Tobias Harris for scoring 2 points in game 6 😮💨 76ers was supposed to close out the series that game wasn't supposed to be no game 7. $150 Million USD 5 yr contract over Jimmy Butler 🧐🤔 Who ever made that decision doesn't watch or understand the game off 🏀
Thank you JJ for acknowledging Horford's and the C's defense. It was like a throwback to how they stopped Durant last season.
It was a nice run Sixers but I’m not going to waste anymore of my life supporting a team that clearly doesn’t care about winning. I’m officially done
Don’t bring up harden!! It’s time to blast Embiid he is soft !!!!!!!!!
Time Lord changed the game.
Did JT ever buy JB that car?
If you have to say it's not an excuse over and over it just might be an excuse . Staying healthy and being available has it's value. And embid can't stay healthy and then chokes everytime in the playoffs. He had to cry for his mvp . And then yall are like well he won mvp. Who cares lol none of that matters when you choke everytime it does matter. The regular season is a joke
Validates the play-in as worthy of being included to show teams you can have success from that position on the table
shouldn't the name of his podcast be "The Old Man & The Three Points" given JJ's historical impact as a three point shooter. This guy's impact shooting the three at all levels of competition is underrated.
That’s crazy bro 4 ECFs and he’s only 19
JJ redick has only been in the podcast game for a few years and has already surpassed the likes of podcasters such as Ryan russillo, Skip Bayless, Dan Le batard, Nick wright etc. When JJ talks he produces facts over feelings and this is why smart people listen. He is the Joe Rogan of basketball podcasting!
Doc couldn't make a adjustment for the life of him 1 and a half quarters Doc could not turn around the sixers cold streak. Fire Doc Rivers!
Celtics own the 76ers, always have. Always will. Joel is a playoff fraud and doesn’t take accountability
The lack of effort in game 6 was frustrating. Game 7 was unlike anything I’ve ever seen from an MVP caliber player. A complete collapse. I had been on Joel’s side up until I heard his press conference. No accountability. Sorry. I’m done.
JJ reddick should go coach somewhere would be a damn good coach
Good point on the MVP race
The next Head Coach of the Philadelphia 76ers. 🙏
I think it's ridiculous that embiid got the MVP because he was second three years in a row. It was a pity vote MVP, MVPity
Tatum is great but he does not ALWAYS show up. Anyone remember 13 points in game 6 of the 2022 finals? He averaged less than JB that finals too and was 36% from the floor. He is young and is always getting better but you cant say he ALWAYS shows up. Its the same as LeBron before he won in 2012.
Just saying… can't say he's delivered on big moments when it came up stale in the finals when it actually mattered. If they end up losing again, Noone is gonna give 2 shots about the time he dropped 50 in the 2nd round lol. Noone.
Stop giving embit the injuri card he looked fine.
Philly especially Harden gave up when the MVP was targeted on defense lmaoo
for sure it‘s right to point out embiids injury history. it probably had some effects on his game and he was very unlucky a lot of times. but still, his mental game had at least as much impact on his production as his injuries. he wasn‘t a leader and maybe he isn‘t one in the future.
I know you’re buddy buddy with Embiid but come on man… how many passes is this guy going to get?
