  1. “It would be hard to see James [Harden] wanting to come back and play for Doc again,” one team source said.

  2. Okay, you can stay one more year Harden if you get rid of Doc, thank you for saying it

  3. ErickBachman

I’m not trying to be a sourpuss but do we really see harden and joel becoming johnny hustle overnight just bc we have nick nurse lol

  4. Bakedbean44

Jokes on him they’re both getting fired

  5. BussyDelendaEst

Oh fuck yeah here we go 🤣 🤣 I was waiting on this one right here 👌🏻 👌🏻 good shit

  6. rahbee33

Fire Doc and have the privilege of paying Harden $200M into his late 30’s.

Keep Doc and let Harden walk for nothing.

    Lucky us.

  7. celj1234

I would rather keep doc than James. Tho both should go

  8. BussyDelendaEst

You gotta understand what this really means. James and Joel tanked these games to get Doc fired.

  9. misterlibby

Doc has to go but if they’re just gonna make him the scapegoat for all of their problems and call it a day, hoo boy. Incapable of learning

  10. LessonNyne

I mean… It’d make your “future” easier if you just leave James.

  11. Interesting-Archer-6

How is it even a question of Doc coming back!?

  12. blueboglin

Josh Harris isn’t going to eat the 16 million still owed to Doc and pay another coach. He’s staying unfortunately and we’ll be back in the same position next year.

Maybe they can demote him to bench coach and give Cassell the reigns haha

But I bet they’ll fire him if they’re off to a slow start next season and attendance drops.

  13. HornetsHornets1

I’m more willing to go into a new season with Harden/Embiid if Doc is gone. But I still think harden is a loser.

  14. Imagine if we keep Doc, lose harden and fail to replace him, and just slip in to full on mediocrity

  15. bravof1ve

I’m disappointed we haven’t gotten a “Rivers is fired” tweet yet.

This org fired Brett Brown the day after they were eliminated. And Brown was dealt both a worse hand that Rivers and stuck through half a decade of terrible rosters. Rivers was handed MVP Embiid and the next season Harden and hasn’t improved this team in any meaningful ways.

  16. PhatYeeter

Fuck that. I want a complete blow up. Everyone except Maxey gone.

  17. Weird_Narwhal_2192

Harden will be maxed by Morey. Doc is gone.

This is not a tweet from her to be clear. So, unconfirmed on if she actually said it

Edit: video is in tweet replies. Confirmed

Doc I think helped us to install a great culture especially throughout the Simmons fiasco, but I don’t think he has the tactical creativity to give us the edge against the best of the best teams like Boston. I’d be glad to try out Nick Nurse.

I also think we’re still strong strong contenders even if we just run it back. We took Boston to 7 games, and they’ll probably end up winning the championship. When all is said and done we might have been the 2nd best team in the playoffs, despite that ugly 3rd quarter. Who knows if the Bucks would have been less pathetic with a healthy Giannis though.

  20. HoagieTwoFace

Harden is a wanker but Doc needs to go.

  21. autimaton

I don’t think any coach can make Harden play up tempo or without the ball at this stage of his career.

  22. RisingEephus8

Would so much rather run it back with Doc than with James

  23. dotheyoweusaliving1

We’re gonna fire doc, run it back, and have to sit through another season where we know we’re not getting past the second round.

  25. Cool, maybe he’ll do one useful thing for this team after all!

  26. mrburrito90

Not that Harden is the player we need him to be, but if they choose Doc…

  27. jeppsforst

Quit drinking but continuing using, or quit using but continue drinking! Oh the decisions…

  28. ozninja80

    Ok fine…they can both go

As bad as Doc is sometimes this just feels like Harden trying to regain some standing by saying “Doc didn’t use me properly”

  29. thisisbyrdman

Hmm I don’t want Harden or Doc. How do we make that happen

  30. Mental-Bit

Most likely get rid of doc , keep harden and try to trade Tobias I would guess

  31. Express-Risk-6123

Morey loves harden too much…doc is fuckin gone

  32. Dr_Kappa

Hire Nick Nurse, trade everyone except Maxey and Paul Reed.

If anything Nick Nurse would be a good coach to rebuild with

  33. von_d_von

I don’t blame doc for the series loss but I’m also not going to pound the table to keep him. If harden is willing to come back if Doc is gone then so be it.

  34. DrunkKaner88

If this team is serious about winning, which we all know they’re not, they’d tell both of them to kick rocks.

  35. rickybobby1013

Holy shit this is gonna be Jimmy butler all over again

  36. Grampz619

honestly man i just cant watch another season of this same core, i dont give a fuck if phil jackson or chuck daly is out there, i just can’t do it again. doc can go pump gas at a wawa in jersey tho too
