Center: Use to be the guy who would score most of the points on the team because he was the tallest guy on the team and positioned himself physically as the closest man to the basket (hoop). Think Wilt Chamberlain (The guy with the most records of any professional athlete including basketball player. Wilt played center mostly and point/center one year which he had the most assist (a category which records are normally held by elite professional playmakers (now called point guards)). So the center position used to be valued as the number one most vital position to secure when formulating a strong starting 5.

Serious question here: Who are we hoping to get? Will he be ready right away? I don't watch college so I don't know. Is there a chance we get a difference maker or just another kid that we never play?
