You guys gotta understand the thing with Bam Edrice Adebayo is that he is strong enough to guard your strongest player, and quick enough to stay with your quickest guard. That is the beauty of Miami defense whenever he is on the floor.

The biggest issues was our defense should have been a zone defense instead of double teaming Butler like he was Jordanā¦Secondly the teamās offense flowed better when the team was passing around the perimeter vs iso possessions.

Nah buddy with the hat was on point with knicks iso play vs team ball movement of Miami. Anyone could see that Miami generated better shots than the knicks who hit tough shots. Yes the knicks misses open shots, but so did Miami. They didnāt want to give Miami any credit even though my guy with the hat was making great points.
When the heat double jalen, itās was either jalen beat the double team or the waited to long and took bad shots more often then not. When the knicks doubled jimmy, the heat made the right passes and made the right rotation.
The way to beat a zone is make jump shots, you gotta shoot them out of the zone. As a heat fan I honestly was never worried about this series. I donāt understand how the Knicks is more talented when the two best players are on the heat. But it was a fun series to watch, good luck next season. I root for the Knicks when they donāt play Miami

nah bro. this is not on thibs at all. spo is arguably one of the best coaches ever. you guys broke it down really well. i knew before game 1 this zone is gonna be a problem. i even commented that on your series preview video. the only thing i really blame thibs for, putting a 15-20 ppg scorer and 35+% career 3 point shooter in the doghouse all season. that is not acceptable, when it was clear we had 0 shooting from the wing.

In fact you can say that Minnesota has a "brighter future" than your team. That trade was more about finding out and RAISING Ant's ceiling. For this team to take the next step we need another guy besides Brunson who can be trusted with the ball in their hands to make the right play consistently. We have a lot of good players but outside of Brunson they are all prone to do something goofy in the most critical moments ie unforced turnover, missed open 3, hesitate on an open shot, allow an offensive rebound to a guard, blow a fast breakā¦

Kudos to Knicks. They could have made it to the ECF and perhaps the world championship round BUT Miami was just too much tenacious & ferocious in defense, come to mind that they have beaten Chicago and no.1 Milwaukee. Atlanta was preplanned to align themselves in the group. I saw it coming. Miami had been in the ECF 3X since 2020, the years of experience theyve been thru.
