Yup, this is pretty accurate. I’m a Celtics fan and this Heat team is giving me nightmares during finals week. I hope it’s a good series, but regardless of who wins everyone’s going home in wheelchairs if this goes to a game 7.

It’s funny that Bill Simmons and your guys’ worst nightmare are coming true. But I respect and hate you guys, especially what our teams did with Philly and Milwaukee in the playoffs last and this year. Especially the Bucks after their fanbase had a lot of arrogance they did to both of us since they won a championship in 2021.

My fear who is whoever comes out of this series is going to be so beaten & bloodied up, the Lakers/Nuggets are going to clean house in the Finals. It’s in either teams best interest to finish this series in 5 to 6 games & not let it run into a Game 7 like last year.
Case in point, the Celtics were projected to win the whole thing last year. Then they had back-to-back Game 7s against the Bucks and us, which led to them being completely gassed out in the Finals vs GSW.
Go back to 2020 & a similar story with us & the Lakers (though injuries didn’t help either).
Our role players have to show up. It can’t just be a Jimmy show. That’s what it was last year & that’s why we (barely) lost to a more talented Celtics team. They’re even more talented this year, but our coaching advantage, veteran experience & the prodigal son of MJ are enough to defeat the Celts in 5-6 games. We’ve gotta aim to split the first two games 1-1 & then win 2-0 in Miami. The one thing I’ve noticed about the Celts is they “play down to their opponents.” Jayson Tatum isn’t consistent & that can definitely cost them in this series if they fall 3-1, or even 3-2 against us. Again, our role players have to show up.
