Saddiq splits in Detroit : 40% from the floor & 34.5% from three
Saddiq splits in Atlanta : 47% from the floor & 40% from the field .. just goes to show how much system & coaching matters .. Detroit tried to develop him into a shot creator / ball handler & it made him look so much worse than what he is … scary thing is coach quin system wasn’t even fully implemented yet , i know QS is excited to use him next year ..
Playing with a soon to be all time great play maker in Trae (if not already) , & a great playmaker in dejounte help as well .
kerfufflest
Yet another reason that he is a great complimentary piece of that he favors that (left from the perspective of the offense) side of the court – Trae is right handed, and favors that side when he drives to the basket. Stacking shooters up on the left side clears out the right for Trae to operate without facing help defenders in the lane, which opens up other elements of his game other than having to rely on the floater falling.
