There is really no other way, we need new ownership. Like, nobody can be this blind.

Yeah you can see this when watching the game. Everyone just stands still when they don’t have the ball

do we have a bunch of slow guys in the starting lineup? sure. but if maxey is on the floor, you have to use him as a cutter – his speed is perfect for attacking off the ball.

hell, if tobias is still here next season, you have to have him cut more.

Doc gotta go. Spacing in this offense never made sense

Trade Tobi and convince Harden to opt-in, so hopefully we can use the full MLE again

Re-sign McDaniels and Reed, let Shake walk and give his minutes to Springer

And Maxey needs to take another leap towards that Dame / Mitchell tier

  6. I don’t understand how more of a correlation between the lack of offense and Tobias hatred isn’t made.

Not defending anyone in particular, but in those first few Brown years, they were building around Simmons & Embiid, almost in that order at times, so there were more dynamic players for Brown to use. More team play, Brown was a Spurs kind of coach.

In game 7 they started playing 5 out. Earlier on when they had shooters i.e. J.J. Reddick and Seth Curry they would move off ball more for the three ball. Once the pnr stopped working with Joel and James it didn’t seem like Glenn had anything left in his bag.

Joel was posting up at the three line as if Ben Simmons was still on the team needing to be in the dunkers spot. Get in the post and play in out and open up some space. He was getting exploited on those backdoor lobs to Williams. It seemed he didn’t even have his head on a swivel. Perhaps having an athletic backup center on the roster to help develop Joel’s game when double teamed. Joel’s passing also looked terrible.

Tobias was playing solid defense and didn’t get enough touches on offense. He was the x-factor and often had a mismatch it was just never exploited. Often times he is kept out of rhythm by not getting touches.

Glenn needs to be removed. Two years ago.

Harris needs to sell the fucking team, fucking terrible owner who may be worse than Comcast and the Flyers.

lmao who is gonna be cutting on this team other than maxey. Our two best players want to hold the ball for the entire shotclock

What’s going to happen first: Philly calls a winner in the mayor’s race or doc gets fired. Either way, it’s feeling like a long week and it’s only Tuesday morning.

I hear Brett Brown is available, could be a decent pickup for us as head coach

  13. ApoliticalAth3ist

Embiid and harden don’t wanna move

What’s his offense, have elite talent and pray the lead doesn’t get choked away?

Been saying it. Watching this team run an offense was excruciating. You watch other teams pass the ball and try and drive and score and set guys up. Philly always felt like a disjointed mess of standing around the three point line, watching the shot clock count down and chucking threes.

Brett Brown would also not have coached three 80-point playoff games in a series. It’s not talked about enough how the Sixers have fucking THREE 80-point games in the playoffs in year 2023!

They constantly meltdown at the end of the game the way they did in 2021. Exactly the way the Clippers did in 2020. There is something mentally draining about Doc’s system that even fucking Kawhi Leonard couldn’t overcome
