GSPN’s deep dive on Milwaukee Bucks head coach candidates

If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance the Milwaukee Bucks have or will reach out to you to set up an interview for their vacant head coach position given just how many potential lead ball coaches the Bucks have reportedly interviewed already, so the GSPN team from both the Gyro Step and Win in 6 podcasts teamed up to discuss every reported option and then some other ones for good measure. Coaches covered in some level of detail include Scott Brooks, Mark Jackson, Ty Lue, Monty Williams, Kenny Atkinson, Chris Quinn, Kevin Young, James Borrego, Charles Lee, Chase Buford, Nick Nurse, Adrian Griffin, and a teensy bit of Steve Kerr.

  1. The fact that you guys are stuck in the american market is hilarious. There are a bunch of European coaches that would run circles around most of the current crop of NBA coaches. Just do a pole voting among your international viewers and read the comments…

  2. Hasn't been interviewed, but any Jordi Fernandez love? Hope we bring him in.

Think the Nurse hate was a bit overblown. There was obviously something bad happening in that Raptor locker room and he mentally checked out before the season ended, which aren't good looks, but we also do not have the whole story. Very strange to have not heard a peep from either the Bucks or Nurse. Either indicative of there not being any interest, or that we are just going through the process with him in mind. Mark Jackson feels like a Klutch favor, at least that is what I'm telling myself…

  3. "he's got on 't' in his name. never trust them." lmaooooooo

  4. The warrios didn't succeed maybe because they were young??????????????
    Come on Rohan . . .

  5. I think one thing that separates the Heat from some other teams is their conditioning program. They play a style that requires high levels of conditioning, which means they enter a 4th qtr or even an OT in better shape their competitors. That conditioning allows them to stay competitive.
