I'm generally pretty low on the Pistons, but the idea that it's Wembanyama or a thousand years of darkness is a really dumb take. The Pistons need a superstar, and there will be other superstars to come out of this draft. I have severe doubts the Pistons will make the right choice in that regard, but I'll at least give them that chance. Mike's just looking for an excuse to disregard the Pistons before they actually do anything wrong. And again, I don't entirely blame him for that, but it feels really lazy.
I couldn't agree more. Troy has proven NOTHING to this point. Anyone would've taken Cade or Ivery at their positions. Duren looks nice BUT the league now has an off-season to view his game and adjust. One year means nothing in this league.
SORRY FANS!!! I have premonitions when sleeping (80% come true)…the Pistons will pick 3RD! Hope I'm wrong…but the dream was as clear as if I was awake! Btw, I haven't been a basketball follower in almost 20 years…so to dream that so clearly was unsettling to me!
honestly we shouldnt even look at the draft as wemby or bust. id be fine with being 3rd as that means we probably land miller who would be an immediate fit, the scary part is what happens if we fall to pick 4 or 5.
Wemby absolutely changes the outlook of this franchise but I don't get how you don't have a franchise future with cade ivey and duren. Rookie year Mike lived cade, it's like he forgot
