What about the Lakers being a step up in competition for the Nuggets? They faced the T-Wolves, who don’t have an All-NBA player. And they faced the Suns, who had absolutely no depth. At least the Lakers faced the defending champs and a dynasty. The Nuggets have faced nobody.
