[ESPN Stats & Info] Jamal Murray averages 16.9 PPG in the regular season and 24.7 PPG in the playoffs. That 7.8 PPG increase is the largest in NBA history (min. 20 games in regular season & playoffs)…. The 2nd-highest increase belongs to Nikola Jokic.

It sounds like this team could almost be a first seed
Jokic good
Jokic/Murray aka the Anti-Harden/Embiid
The anti-Embiid.
And Embiid has nearly a 10ppg drop when it comes to the playoffs. Like Draymond said, there’s 82 game players and then there’s 16 game players
I really hope they wear the powder blues in the WCF and the Finals (if they make it).
Im worried about the Nuggets defense
One of my favorite duos to watch during this season, except for when Murray would occasionally put up a stinker. But it is nice to see them fully healthy
Jamal Murray: BDE
Why have Murray when you can have Campazzo/Austin Rivers!! -Avg fan last 2 years
Good stuff but skewed cuz jamal and jokic didn’t make playoffs until 2019 season
Players who have stepped up in the play-offs: Jamal, Jokic, Jimmy, Jalen, Jayson
What happened to Joel?
Comparing career PPG to playoff PPG in this manner is wack. They should compare only regular seasons when they made the playoffs.
Jokic fans feasting
This list is basically just “start off your career slow while missing the playoffs”. Like Lebron is only +1.3 on this stat because he averaged 27ppg at 20yo.
Stop it, I can only be so erect
As a mavs fan and a nuggets bandwagonner this list gives me mixed feelings
Dawgs
The rare double reverse Embiid.
“Bubble” Murray and “Playoffs underperformer” Jokic. 😂 People don’t watch the games or look at stats, yet they are eager to share their opinions.
Brunson is an outlier. He never got a major role before so his regular season stats are low.
Useless stat as presented unfortunately
Like the reverse Harden and Embiid
Could this have to do with if a player spends his first few years not in the playoffs, improving, then when he gets there he’s already at about 20-22ppg, but his career is weighed down by the earlier years as a bench player?
In the three years Murray made the playoffs, they made the WFC twice, and a game 7 short of a third.
Do lakers fans really believe they’re going to roll over the nuggets in 5/6?
coasting to a #1 seed lmao
Brunson 14ppg? He doesn’t play like a 14ppg dude. (I didn’t watch the Knicks this season)
DIIBME
The reverse Embiid
