Pick 1 once, shame on you. Pick 1 twice, shame on me. Pick 1 three times then it’s rigged 🤣🤣🤣.
as a spurs fan this gotta be rigged but i aint complaining. we are such a small market team and it might make the league more competitive. also thinking abt how kawhi treated the fans and franchise, this makes up for it. i havent been this excited for my team since we had that lead on the warriors in the playoffs (right before zaza intentionally injured kawhi)
Put the word out My Spurs are Back up
They tanked to perfection, they were competitive, learned, and still got the player everyone wanted.
YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAH
I wanted the ping pong balls, how did they draw?
Our San Antonio Spurs have been blessed in the lottery picks in the past . 1987 (David Robinson), 1989 (Sean Elliott….3rd pick overall), and 1987 (Tim Duncan). All 3 were loyal and helped us finally get over the hump in 1999 (1st NBA title). Mid – late '80s were our dark years, when we got Robinson and Elliott.. Similar to what we have been going through now, last 4 seasons. 1997, we had a hick up (injuries, caching change, etc). We got Duncan.
Thanks! We are enjoying it. But, I get it lol. Some folks hate our luck lol. But, hey, we always had good coaching and scouts. So it helps. We are like the Western Conference version of the Milwaukee Bucks. Mid-small markets, good history/consistency and NBA championships, HOF players, etc.
Wemby is a beast! So are the other top 4-5 players. Charlotte Hornets wins, too.
Baby steps. We will have to compete with The Grizzlies and Pelicans in the Southwest Division next few years. Then catch up with the rest of the elites, including yalls Sacramento Kings! Kings are set for the future for years to come.
