Jamal Murray added 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Nuggets, while Anthony Davis (40 points, 10 rebounds) and LeBron James (26 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists) combined for 66 points for the Lakers. The Nuggets lead this best-of-seven series, 1-0, with Game 2 taking place on Thursday, May 18 (8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).

With his 4th tonight, Nikola Jokic has now passed LeBron James and Oscar Robertson (3 each) for the most 30+ point, 15+ rebound, 10+ assist Playoff games in NBA history.

    The announcer was right. The only wau to counter the Hachimura Defense on Jokic is to run a pick n roll on Gordon so that AD will go outside the paint area. Excited on game 2 though. 🔥

    as a die hard laker fan, I was so sad as we were trailing for like 20 points, but when lakers figured it out in 4th Q, the saddness just flew away as I realized that the lakers now know what to do and can take the chicken nuggets in game 6. real LBJ fans don't blame lebron because if he mad those shots I bet all of us saying the word "KING" again, you expect him to drive in the paint when he was too tired and we needed to gain the momentum by making that 3 point shot he took. We take the L, we will come stronger with more clues and ideas on what to do and I will never believe thst denver will.make those lucky shots again because without those? we could have gone to overtime.

    Imagine if Refs gave Lakers a +20 FT attempts like how they did in most of the games against Warriors, Lakers would have also won this game. When refs aren’t rigging it for Lakers they can’t win.

    I know that jokic doesn't care about regular season mvp, but 3back to back mvp and 1championship(if it happens) would have been a huge advantage of resume for all time greatest. Since players' greatness is all about the stats and record 1~2 decade later

    Lakers best player's aka the refs let LA play rugby as usual. Denver's athleticism leveled it out. Ref's are going to tweak it game 2. More calls for LA more rugby

    Bron had a good game before the last three minutes but sold at the end.
    -missed floater which lead to AG alley-oop
    -took a bad 3 and missed when he coulda drove to the basket against Murray
    -lost the ball at the end

    AD against Kleber type moment for LBJ

    Also D'Lo was the only player in both teams who played bad all game
