How they reached the finals? It’s easy to understand. They only had to beat 1 team above .500 to reach the finals. Most of their opponents were garbage. This 2007 cavs were top 5 in defensive ratings Larry Hughes was a 22ppg guy before he joined the cavs. 2007 Detroit was on their last legs, didn’t have defensive center ben wallance anymore. Had washed up chris webber to guard the paint and had 6th worst record in nba history as first seed.
LeBron leaving the first time was the best thing that ever happened to the Cavs imo. They were never able to build around LeBron in his first stint with the team, going to Miami allowed the Cavs to get the pieces that would actually give LeBron a shot at a ring when he came back, which they did get.
This and the 01 sixers are by far the worst teams to ever reach a nba finals you take LeBron off that roster they losing 60+ games in the regular season fighting to get the number 1 pick coach pop in the nba finals literally packed the paint on LeBron having 5 niggas guarding him cause he knew nobody could shoot a ball in the ocean
