  1. Lol these scouts are so dramatic with their projections "best draft prospect ever"?

Dude could be really good but he ain't gonna be better than Jordan, Bron, Kobe, etc.

  2. I almost forgot the Derozan played for the spurs, I gotta give it to pops and the management of the spurs how they handled these players m. Y’all deserve wemby
It’s time for you guys to come back again
It’s been awhile since the heat Vs spurs era. Loved those series. I hope the jazz can come up one day. Good luck

  3. As a Spurs fan, I wish to point out a correction, San Antonio Spurs have made two No.1 picks in franchise history. First in 1987 when they selected The Admiral David Robinson. Ten years later 1997 they drafted Tim Duncan with the No.1 pick. From there the franchise formed a dynasty that went on to win five championships and make an indelible mark on the NBA. The Spurs might be forming another generational dynasty in drafting Victor Wembanyama! Watch out NBA! Go Spurs Go!!!

  4. I'd put it at 90% that the Blazers are trading their pick and another big asset for someone like Mikhal Bridges.

  5. Spurs deserved to get Wemby. Most NBA media relegated Spurs as a purgatory/irrelevant. Spurs did not even have a nationally-televised game last season. Spurs did not tank callously, the team played the right way and played hard in most games last season. He will play with a great sports organization, Spurs expanding in Austin and internationally (Mexico), with new investors and new training facility. Victor gets to be mentored by the greatest coach of all time, he will be cheered on by great hardcore fans in San Antonio/across the world. You will see Victor relieved and happy when SA got #1 – cause he wanted to be a Spur. Spur wanted him. It will be a great renaissance story NBA/media will run (and cash on) for the next decade or so, as Spur get back on top, where they belong.. It's destiny.

  6. we aint drafting anyone, we're 110% trading the pick for an all star wing/center. we're gonna get dame what he wants, no matter the cost

  7. We will take scoot in portland, 6'9 Wingspan!! Dude will be a defensive is the best 2 way guard we have seen in years

  8. To answer your question. No it doesn’t kill the value of tanking. Rockets and pistons were just unlucky. But they gave a valiant effort in swinging on a guy who can change your franchise dramatically. As a Pacers fan it pisses me off seeing a bad team that wouldn’t fully swing for Wembanyama. Getting 15 or so more wins then the Pistons was not worth not even having a real shot at Wemby

  9. Detroit being at #5 isnt unlucky. Its a message by the NBA for tanking. There is no genuine randomized picks. The NBA chooses, they made a statement for future teams that want to tank

  10. He went to one of the 2 teams that would have been great for him. Portland being the other team that would have been great for a dame and Victor duo

  11. Detroit didn’t need Wenbanyama they already have wiseman who just needs to play, Bagley and Stewart

  12. As a Blazers fan, I get not paying attention to our situation because it's real bad, but I'm surprised he didn't talk about us trading the #3 pick. A lot of Blazers fans myself included think we need to trade Ant and Nurk. It's also clearly been the mindset of the front office that we need to capitalize on Dame (even though there hasnt been good movement in that direction from a talent perspective) because realistically what are the odds either Scoot or Brandon Miller are as good as Dame? So i think a package including some assortment of Ant, Nurk, and the #3 pick could be worth a superstar from a team looking to change direction

  13. I wonder if the Magic can move up to number 3 and draft Scoot Henderson by tradeing number 6 and 11 overall and a future first round pick top 3 protected and a second round pick this year number 36 overall to the Blazers
i think that’s a pretty good hall Blazers can use a lot of depth

  14. From a Blazer fan, you didn't discuss the likelihood of selling the 3rd pick. The Blazers still owe Chicago a protected 1st rd pick, and are kind of handcuffed to sell their future firsts as a result of this. My bet is Portland moves back in the draft, pays off Chicago, and moves their realized equity to trade Anfernee Simons plus multiple picks for a big name. Names to look for: Embiid, Jaylen Brown, DeRozan, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green (in free agency). I personally don't think the blazers are investing themselves in the young team, I think they want to make big moves now to win with Dame, and a high pick and roll threat like Embiid makes sense, since Harden is a free agent, and the 6ers might be in rebuild mode with an amazing talent in Maxey.

  15. I'm going to start betting against teams once I can tell they'll have a losing record…. pretty sure you'll always break a profit if you pick a shit enough team

  16. As we speak right now there making room for Victor's mural at Rudy's Fish on S .Flores and Porbandt

  17. LOL How on Earth do you think that Scoot would be an "absolutely fantastic fit" on POR? You said that prior to even talking about the idea of POR making moves. Insinuating that he fits in any way on that team as constructed is ridiculous.

Dame, Sharpe, Ant & Scoot? How to you make that work? If Scoot falls to 3, POR either needs to trade the pick to try to go all in w/ Dame (probably combined with a package around Ant)… Or they need to draft Scoot & trade Dame, as you suggested. There is absolutely no way it makes sense to keep all those guards. They're already extremely unbalanced & guard heavy w/ a massive lack of size. To say they have "some bigs" is kind of funny too. Nurk, sure… Who else? Eubanks? He's a 3rd string 4/5 at best imo. If Miller falls to 3, POR needs to draft him. Otherwise, it's trade the pick or trade Dame & rebuild.

  18. Rockets were not tanking. They couldn't win even if they wanted to.

  19. I know nobody pays attention to the blazers but the only pick they weren’t gonna trade was #1 dame has basically said if they go young he’s out

  20. I’m down for my wolves to trade KAT for that 3rd pick so we can potentially get scoot or Miller
