Whoever wants us to choose a fucking guard is evil
Hendricks: Awesome! Instant fit, great size (6’9) and wingspan (7’2-3) for a 4, great defense and rim protection. Good 3 pt shooter. He could start immediately and fix a lot of our problems. My favorite choice at 10th pick.
Walker: Awesome! Also instant fit, great size (6’8) and wingspan (7’1-2) as well. From what I have seen, slightly worse shooting than Hendricks but better ball handling. Better perimeter defender and slightly worse rim protector than Hendricks. Either him or Hendricks at 10 would be fabulous.
Gradey Dick: Awesome duo with Hardy (and makes the extension of Wood more favorable). Great 3 pt shooter with decent size. Probably can’t play 4 given limited height and strength. Would prefer to trade down for Leonard Miller and/or Derek Lively since 3pt shooting is not a big concern for us. If there is no good deal with trades keeping him is not the worst thing. I would definitely take Hendricks or Walker above him.
Anything with a G (guard): lol. We better be making the pick for someone else.
Derek Lively: Not a bad choice, but given draft prospect, Nico should be smart and trade down to take him at late teens or 20s, while getting something in return.
Not mentioned: Leonard Miller seems interesting to me. 6’10-11 with 7’2 wingspan PF, great rebounder, athletic, great handle for his size: decent defender and rim protector. 32% 3pt shooting but inconsistent. Quite raw on both ends. I see a lot of mock drafts predicting him to be 11-14, I wouldn’t mind taking him at 10, but trading down and picking him while getting something in return should be feasible. He’s been improving his game throughout the year at G-league and imho has great potential.

Not enough Bobi Klintman noice here! He is what we want if he develops right. He seems to be guaranteed to be picked so its not sure that we can get him.
