Atlanta Hawks, Chase host Project Rebound basketball clinic with Onyeka Okongwu

Increasing access to play with Chase ❤️ Check out our Project Rebound clinic at Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy with Big O!

On Thursday, March 16, our Foundation and Chase joined together with Good Sports to host a Project Rebound mini basketball clinic for local youth girls and young women at the Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy.

Project Rebound is an initiative launched by the Hawks Foundation and Good Sports in 2018 to provide sports resources to Title I schools and area non-profits working in high-need communities. Through support provided by Chase, participating schools and organizations will receive basketball and fitness equipment for youth programming.

The event at the Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy was the second part of a larger four-part clinic activation through the initiative. The activation included Atlanta Dream Guard AD and our very own Hawks Forward-Center Onyeka Okongwu, who spoke to youth about the importance of staying active.

In addition, Gocha’s Breakfast Bar provided healthy meals to all youth and participants in attendance.
